ok, this was totally his fault and his agency's fault. I believe the agency should have better control over what their idols post on social media. Also, why the hell would he associate himself with politics? They're entertainers, they should know what image the audience wants to see, regardless of what they believe in.

I'm pretty sure that hundreds of Chinese people took pics with Japanese shrines and so on but none of them were canceled overnight. I'm not defending him, I'm just saying that we expect so much from human beings. Imagine becoming a celebrity yourself and see if you can hold a perfect image yourself.
