I'm already tempted to rewatch even tho I finished it a few hours ago lmaoo. It was fairly good, the end could have been better (as in better paced), the songs are BOMB, THEY ARE SO GOOD.

Lmaooo I know that Eunwoo is not the greatest actor and can be very stiff at acting sometimes, but I enjoy watching him on screen nonetheless. I guess you can say he's my guilty pleasure.

Lmao thank you for this comment! I don't see the point in being offended over others' opinions. What a waste of their time and effort. Their arguments/protests will fall on deaf ears. They won't change the way I feel about my favorite actors, and I won't change the way they feel about their favorite actors. I love Nam Joo Hyuk a lot, but if 52 others don't, who am I to degrade them because their opinion differs from mine?

Can you imagine how boring this world would be if we all had the same tastes and liked the same things?

I would agree, but people may think that they don't get enough attention. As in, they may have been acknowledged and praised, but not to the extent that they want to. I can't tell what other users' definition of 'underrated' is, but if they think Han So Hee and Kim So Hyun fits the description, then I just go along. This isn't a list for my own opinions, but rather the opinions of others.

I have not seen Snowdrop nor do I plan to, so I can't speak on her acting skills, but I do see why some people may have voted her on here.

Just like how I was speaking to another user on the actors' list, she may have just had one drama, but she (from various fans) was hyped up which caused people to find that she was overhyped. I don't necessarily follow her but I have seen a few comments saying she was an amazing actress. Yeah, they may be hardcore stans, but they're fans nonetheless and created a hype around her.

I don't really regulate things here because it would be stamping down the freedom of opinions, but I do get where you and the others are coming from.

Ahhh I see. I would have more rules if people would actually read the description, but some don't so you constantly get things that don't quite add up to what the list was truly meant for. Even if you delete them from the list, someone will always bring them back, so yeah it's easier on me and the voters to just give them free rein.

Hmmm that's true, I see what you mean. But, even if they had a lot of flowers/likes, they may be underrated in Korea, if you get my drift. Underrated could mean a bunch of things for others, so it's really hard to truly estimate who is underrated and who's not, it's a rather broad and vague word.

For instance, let's say in Korea an actress is well received, but internationally she isn't, so they vote for her as "underrated" because, in Korea, they aren't as popular as some of these actresses.

I may have worded the list a little wonky, but by no means was this list created for ill intentions. I merely thought of it as a list to see who most people thought were "overhyped" and doesn't live up to expectations.

Overrated was the word I used because it's the word I've always heard people casually say without batting an eyelash, so I assumed it was just a word to describe things that didn't, as I said before, live up to expectations.

No, we're not ignoring their hard work, but we're also not deluding ourselves into thinking that they are amazing actresses. At best, average. These are opinions! We're not attacking them for their physical attributes, but their acting talent. Sure, you can say some people just voted on this list because they hate them, but that's generalizing all the voters who did vote according to the topic.

I never said they don't deserve the prizes and awards they earned, but they don't deserve the hype that they're given. From the things you hear people say about their acting, you expect some excellent actress, but you're taken out of the drama because their acting was just average.

This example perfectly describes what I'm trying to get across. "If you say a film is overrated, that means the film isn't as good as what people are trying to make look."

HOWEVER, since overrated seems to have a negative connotation to some of you guys, I will change the title to overhyped :)

...I can cope with haters. I would be a tyrant if I regulated everything they said. They're free to share their opinions, just like I'm free to share mine.

Feel free to explain why in the comments." my description of the list. When I'm talking overrated, I'm talking why are they popular? Pretty privilege is a thing, and some of these actresses/actors just have looks going for them, which isn't their fault, but rather the people who propped them up.

Overrated may have a negative connotation to you, but for me it's fine. It's all about perspective.

As for working hard, how is it fair that they get roles because of their status or looks, but actresses who work just as hard but aren't considered as pretty yet are amazing actresses get no roles? Working hard is fine and commended, but just because you work hard, it doesn't mean you're great at it.

Not really tbh lol when you think V, your mind automatically goes to singer/BTS. I never really equated him as "actor" since he only had one role, but that being said, I do see where they're coming from because fans hyped up his acting and said it was really good (I haven't seen it so I can't comment on that)

Yup, I personally would never say IU is the most overrated, but it all comes down to personal taste and if people aren't impressed by her then so be it. I have a few of my favorites on this list too lol :(
