The girl was replaced but has one of the guys been replaced as well?
To see several come back, I believe production team already tried their best, its just like you said its so long (blame it to covid) since first season, those originals probably already have other schedules.
The girl was replaced but has one of the guys been replaced as well?
original actor of Ipsaeng (Kim Sung Cheol) is busy filming Hellbound (as main lead) while original actor of Chaeeun (Ko Bo Gyeol) also become main lead for her own drama. I already expected they left.
when are ppl going to stop talking about the recast and focus on the story? it's only 17 days away and pls shut…
its been 1 year and 4 months since first recasting news out and seems that several people still live under the rock. honestly i prefer they just ignore this drama and let us enjoy the festive. but no they choose to become party pooper. sorry i'm being harsh now
JG explained in recent Allure interview about the twin. Eunseom is cool, very forward looking and very similar to LJG himself. As the leader that unified the whole Ago tribe, his face reflects that. He is young, but also somewhat aged, showing some traces of worries he's had. Saya dreams of becoming a person with the greatest power, had biggest dream to take over the throne from Tagon, gain trust and faith from people he has loved just as he desired . Saya also a strategist and commander. He is very delicate and so called -tsundere, sharp and sensitive, but deep inside he longs to connect with people and wants their affection.
I feel like such an idiot. I tried to come up with all kind of explanations why the Eunseom teaser felt so off,…
The way I see it, some old fans including you already dissapprove with changed of styles and appearances in season 2.
As I follow Arthdal since 2019 I remember many of criticism from korean viewers about GoT images imitating on web board during season 1 and the production team want to correct this point for season 2. They use time gap to modify all the costumes and images of characters to be more korean. Honestly, IMO this time they intended not to make the twin look much different in visual. By the length of hair and style that almost the same. It’s going to be hard work for actor to show the difference between characters, with only acting.
Now this is me talking as LJG fans, as I know for sure that LJG won't throw away all characteristic built by SJK in first season, He won't approach the roles thinking "I'm playing new characters and that's it" but "I'm playing characters who precede me and already have a story of their own, I need to keep that in mind when acting"
There is 8 years gap between ending of season 1 and beginning of season 2 and I must quote again what JG said about this gap in the interview
“There is a gap of eight years so I tried to stay focused throughout the process of making guesses and imagining what the lives of these two people might have been like in those intervening years. It was important to fill the gaps and maintain the continuity.”
Eunseom won't survive and unite Ago clan if he stay innocent and stupid . He must adapt and he is the best at it, as he able to copy anything after only see it once. New styling of Eunseom shows how much he has mastered himself and matured over in last 8 years.
Saya being thrown on the battlefield for the past 8 years, thanks to Tagon and Taealha. No way he will stay as feminine and calm as he used to be. He will be bitter, angry, and lost all his calm. Plus jealousy.
But anyway, seems that you are too much involved with past characters so yeah...
[trans - still article] - In The Sword of Aramun, Kim Ok-vin transforms into the Queen of Arthdal with a “Burning Desire for Power” - 🔗 https://entertain.naver.com/read?oid=609&aid=0000760800 - tvN has released new stills of Kim Ok-vin for its upcoming Sat-Sun drama “The Sword of Aramun.”
The photos show Tae Alha at the pinnacle of power as The Queen looking glamorous and elegant. In the eight years, she has seized power using force, authority, and technology, but she is not content with what she already has.
The photo of her standing with her son she has with Tagon catches the eye. The way she looks down at her child and the way she caresses her child’s face suggest that Tae Alha has an attitude to her child different from and outside of the norm of ‘motherhood.’ Tae Alha plans on implementing unconventional parenting to have everyone in this world at her feet.
“In Season 1, you saw this youthful side of Tae Alha that she had more faith in love and more willing to rely on people, whereas this season shows her to be more mature as a mother with a child and a politician with a burning desire for power.”
“The love Tae Alha received from her own father was about her having to prove useful to her father when he found her worth using. She is unlike any ordinary mother with maternal warmth. I think the kind of love she shows for her child is similar to the kind of love she received from her own father.”
“Arok, Tae Alha’s son, proves to be most useful when Tae Alha uses him to maintain her power. She considers her son’s well-being to be important as long as that’s to benefit her own well-being. She wants Arok to possess all the qualities that befit a king like Tagon.”
Expectations are rising for Kim Ok-vin’s realistic portrayal of Tae Alha, the Queen and politician who has become greedier yet more mature.
