If u check my previous replies below i said several times that he declined the role because of schedule conflict (exactly as what media written)
My point here is I just don't understand why OG actor fans always try to refute those words written in news by saying that no he didn't refuse, he didn't decline, but he just not available.
still, no more explanation than that. honestly if he really want to do season 2 he will make it work but apparently not. so he refused the offer 😌 no need to sugarcoating it as "no he didn't refuse it but he just wasnt available' when all articles wrote that original OG were " declined, dropped out".. Beside, everyone know he was first choice and LJG stepped up as his replacement.. I believe even though LJG is not the first choice, LJG will nail it, like he always nail all his previous drama.
Can't believe this is his first sageuk since Scarlet Heart Ryeo 7 years ago
from 2012-2016 he did 4 sageuk back to back ( with exception Two Weeks in 2013) thats why after Scarlet Heart people begged him to do modern drama. And after 7 years he is back🥳
Lee JoonGi finally isnt in a law/crime action drama. Can't say i'm very excited about those wigs on the male characters…
Sageuk (historical drama) is his element. he build his career with this kind of genre. including the work that brought him to stardom, King and the Clown, was a sageuk movie. if you type "king of sageuk" on google, his name will come out first. Aramun's Sword is his comeback to sageuk after 7 years. Many anticipated it
I'm sorry I don't know the answer for that yet But I read someone said under another comment that this will be available on Hulu for North America region.
the word " not available" was promoted by OG actors fans but in reality every ac2 articles never mentioned something like that.
usually those articles wrote the reason as : dropped out, declined, stepped down, pulling out.
also no official confirmation from both OG actors.
Whatever reason I don't care as long as they stop acting like the drama only made for original OG and without them this drama will fail. They can say they'll miss the original OG actors without shitting on the new ones like the work of the rest of the cast and the writers doesn't matter.
Is it just me, or the person we can hear in the Eunseom teaser is actually not Eunseom but Saya? I mean I was…
yah. some of us made guess that last part of teaser (the one when he yell "i, eunseom of wahan') probably Eunseom wearing Saya’s outfit (with eye makeup).
It's no secret that most k drama general viewers have blind faith in LJG's acting, "if it's Lee Joon Gi then I'm…
my answer simply explain why many ppl ask if they can straight watch season 2 without have to watch season 1. and I agree about they supposed to check other comments before ask the same question again and again.
But i don't think its stupid for people to start something outside their comfort zone for example watching drama different from what they used to watch.
Not everyone who asked are all JG fans. In fact, many of them are general kdrama audience who have faith in his acting.

I am happy we get to keep that promise. But it is nerve-racking and exciting at the same time.”
“In a nutshell, it’s about the land of Arth on the verge of a war.” Eunseom, now the new Inaishingi, has successfully reunified the 30 clans of the Ago Tribe and is now fully equipped and ready to go to war with Arthdal. Tagon, now king of Arthdal, is also ready to go to war and take over the entire land of Arth after bringing numerous riots under control.”
“8 years ago, Eunseom promised Tanya he would come to her rescue in Arthdal. Tagon promised he would conquer the Ago tribe. Now, Tagon and Eunseom are both ready and waiting to pull their swords out. In other words, all is set and ready.”
“We focused particularly on keeping it fast-paced. Since it centers on the war between Arthdal and the Ago Union, we focused on the portrayal of the war. Special attention was paid to the depiction of the characters’ psychologies and desires, as well as their decision-making (determination) processes, as they were about to fight in the epic.”
Asked what the title ‘The Sword of Aramun’ means: “It means the ‘determination’ this person makes to become Aramun. The determination of the person who accepts this mission.” Park adds, “Our story was derived from mythologies and prophecies, but with this title, we wanted to mean that, no matter what it is, it all comes down to that person who lives and awakens their willpower to fulfill and bring it to fruition.”
“We drew our inspiration from Korean mythology to create this fantasy ‘The Sword of Aramun,’ we would appreciate it if you also draw connections between that mythology and our drama.”
The Sword of Aramun premieres September 9, Saturday, at 9:20 PM.
you need to watch the previous season because this one is in continuation with s1. And i don't see the point in…
It's no secret that most k drama general viewers have blind faith in LJG's acting, "if it's Lee Joon Gi then I'm watching". And this is sageuk, LJG's element. His comeback after 7 years. Many anticipated it. But we know that AC no ordinary kdrama. They want to tune in for season 2, but AC isn't their cup of tea, that's why that question popped up every single time.
I myself always tell fellow fans to watch season 1 before watch season 2 and I agree that we can't understand season 2 without it.
