You just watch sweety ,lovey, dovey drama it's doesn't mean Kdrama have not all those scenes just you didn't explore…
You are right, but it seems to be getting more prevalent. Everyone has their own preferences, it's just not something I care for. The older detective/police shows have less language. You are right, my preference is romance, because I like to escape from the real world at times.

One of the reasons I started watching K-dramas was for the lack of explicit scenes, violence, and language. I wish the makers of these dramas wouldn't feel like they need to "keep up with the times". It's jarring (for me) to watch something on Netflix that uses cursing, and I don't understand why that needs to be translated. That's just me though, but, in general, I think that people have become desensitized to those factors in tv shows. I've had more people recommend that I watch something, and when I've asked them later about the language/sex, they invariable say they didn't notice it. That being said, I think isang18 is correct, this show will probable do really well, because of this publicity.

If there is a series with all smiles and sweet romance this would be it. You can fast forward some of the SFL…
I think there's a problem when you have to fast forward through so much of a show. Makes me wonder if they use an editor at all.

Title Our Blues
This is the third time I've tried watching this. I'd like to say third time's a charm, but it may not be. Although…
I just tried it again and I can't either. Everyone was depressing me.

Title Our Blues
I tried watching this drama but the characters are too much of losers for my taste, none of the plotlines are…
This is the third time I've tried watching this. I'd like to say third time's a charm, but it may not be. Although it's got a wonderful cast, I just can't warm up to it.

I'm starting episode three. How long will the villagers be so terrible? She went from abuse at work to abuse in a small town. I'm waiting for the "found family" to kick in.

Title A River Runs through It Spoiler
Help please. I've read multiple comments that FL chases 2ML for the entire show. Really, it what episode do the FL and the ML actually get together? If it's toward the end, I'll skip this one. To me. having a lead character like someone other than the lead diminishes their love. And why, when we've got so many episodes, are the endings so rushed?

Thank you for this review. You've saved me a lot of time. I hate watching a love story where they don't end up together.

Wow, you are no quitter! You stuck through 105 episodes. Thank you for saving me some time and sanity.

Though I don't agree with you on some things, I wish the writers would do a better job with the romance aspect of a rom-com. When they spend more time than together, when they never talk to and get to know each other, and when they finally get together, nine times out of 10 the ending is rushed.

I have yet to see a Kdrama with gangsters who are genuinely intimidating in any way. 😂 I didn't see that recent…
Nailed it!

Love your review! Reading a lot of the reviews, not even Lee Jae Wook is incentive enough to make me suffer through this drama.

Review Start-Up
Great review, thanks. I, too, was more interested in the SML. My favorite part was him and the grandmother. The main couple was meh.

I liked this one more than you, but I agree it felt like a modern drama with the actors playing dress up (I actually said that in my review!). For me, that was a plus, because historical dramas have SO much angst. This was more lighthearted. The ending, as per the norm, was rushed and underwhelming. Thank you for your review.
