this show is so cute, i don't understand why the ratings keep dropping 😭 like, it's not groundbreaking, but it's fun and interesting. definitely deserves a high rating imo 😅🥺
Untouchable Lovers? More like “Lovers That Never Touch” 😭😭 Such a great cast, but OMG. The most convoluted and conniving group of characters I’ve ever seen in my life. It’s such a train wreck, I can’t look away. 😂
This show made me cry SO much, but absolutely stole my heart. What brilliant performances by both Landy Li and Lin Yi. So much heart and depth and warmth in this show amidst the pain and grief. I don't know how I'll move on from it.
I am simply awestruck by Landi Li's acting masterclass here. Oh my word, this girl is phenomenal istg
Right?! I've never seen her in anything before, but was SO impressed. She was a perfect match for Lin Yi in this. They never overpowered each other, but kept pulling the other up to new heights with each emotional moment. Masterclass acting indeed!
You know, some think Lin Tuo was dying/in a coma at the end, but Zhi Que is shown walking back into the house after running errands, so I like to think he was simply asleep, waiting for her. Ventilation can extend an ALS patient's life by 10-30 years... plus, with the portable ventilators, etc, many ALS patients live "normal", happy lives for years after the disease progresses. Besides, I don't think Zhi Que would have left him alone at that point for any length of time. PERIOD.
Maybe this is just wishful thinking, but I like to think they got into a comfortable routine at home, and continued to live happily together for years to come. 🥺
What an incredible, beautifully told story. Heart wrenching but also so so heartwarming and inspiring. 🥺 Made me cry almost every single episode. All the actors — especially the two leads — deserve ALL the awards. 😭 This one will stay with me for a long time. ❤️🩹
This show is so beautifully done. It’s heart-wrenchingly realistic and covers so many important details that accompany living with a terminal disease… especially the psychological and emotional aspects of it – for both the person with the illness, and the ones that love them. The family relationships and the friendships are truly exquisitely portrayed. And the acting… oof. Every single episode makes me cry. 😭😭
Okay, I’m convinced I need to watch this drama ASAP 🥹😂 I saw a random clip of the leads and was absolutely FLOORED by their chemistry, connection, and acting. Now that it’s done airing, I think I’m gonna binge it lol
this drama is a masterpiece. i’m heartbroken and will probably never recover from that ending, but i can’t deny the brilliance of the story, the cast, and the characters. 😭💔
i’m literally going crazy here, i don’t know if i can even keep watching until i know if there’s a happy ending or not 😩 i’m too attached to these characters, it can’t be healthy 😂
I've noticed some comments targeting the female lead in this drama, with people expressing that they feel she…
i honestly think every single person is perfectly cast in this drama — and that rarely happens! the maturity of the actors just adds to their charm and poise… the chemistry is even better imo because they have a deeper understanding of the characters, their roles, the relationships etc. as long as we get a happy ending, i wouldn’t change a single thing. 🥲
I haven't been this obsessed with a cdrama in a LONG time. The bromance, the romance, the humor, the action scenes, the brilliance of it all... SO obsessed. Truly deserves all the love it's getting. 🥹
Decided to start this on a whim (my first historical Chinese drama 👀) and I am absolutely in LOVE with it. The leads have such a sweet relationship from the very beginning, the female friendships are delightful, the humor is actually funny without being cringey or overdone, and the pacing is perfect. Usually dramas this "slow" bore me, but I am absolutely captivated by each episode.
I'm only 10 episodes in, but I have a feeling this will be a new favorite.
8.6 rating is way too high for a drama like this. It was not THAT good. It was predictable, bit of unnecessary…
You're entitled to your opinion. Going into it, it was pretty obvious what kind of drama it was meant to be, and they did a fantastic job with it. It's definitely not for everyone, though. 😊
asdfjlkjsdlfkj this is the CUTEST drama. i was not expecting to love it this much, but i am so hooked. MC has the sweetest chemistry and the relationship build is so natural. no unnecessary drama, great secondary characters, and nice focus on the friendships and relationships. fingers crossed they don't mess it up - but so far, this is a new favorite. <33
As others said, it's not a traditional wuxia story, this story is unique and different from other wuxias which…
Yes, exactly! I think that's why I was drawn to MLC... it isn't your typical wuxia at all. Wuxia usually isn't my thing, but MLC stole my heart, and now I want to test the wuxia waters. Lol.
Thank you for the recs! I'll add these to my list. 😆
