Bromance = strong brotherly/platonic love between two males, blood related or not. Stronger than common friendship but not sexual. This is what bromance is supposed to mean. Bromance/sismance dramas are dramas which plot is focusing mostly on a main bromance/sismance with or without a side romance added to it. Romance dramas are romance dramas with or without a side bro/sismance or some friendships added to it. Gay romances are not bromances. They're gay romances. This drama is literally a bromance drama.

Great review, thanks. Seems like it's a pretty faithful adaptation of the webtoon : a brutal, gripping but straightforward quest for revenge without much more.

This is very true, some dramas are rated so high and have such a hype when they're not even good. Ratings on this site are terribly biased most of the time.

It's pretty difficult to find a fair rating anyway but here if a drama has some idols or something like that they'll either be rated very high or very low just because of the people in it, not because of the actual quality of the story.

I tried to watch The Veil and I really liked it in the beginning but I don't for some reason at some point I totally lost interest :/. Maybe someday I'll give it another chance. There are some others from the list I have watched but didn't really like so I didn't mention them :).

OK thanks a lot for replying : ). I too love friendships and I do not watch BL/GL. But I prefer to avoid censored gay romances as well, that's why I asked.

If you haven't seen Live Surgery Room (medical C-drama), Unnatural Fire (police C-drama), and Begin Youth (youth K-drama), I highly recommend them to you.

LSR has a really beautiful friendship between the MLs and a nice teamwork, it's kind of idealistic and unrealistic but it's a very comforting drama, UF has a very interesting and heart-warming friendship between a girl and two guys (no love triangle), and BY is about a group of teen boys who are all very close.

However both UF and BY are pretty sad overall so if that's not your thing that might be an issue.

Don't worry, you have your right to have and share your opinion. I do not support LGBTQ+ relationships either. But anyway anyone not agreeing with them is a "homophobe" regardless of their reasons, so whatever. However I'd just like to say that bromance is not BL, although many mix up the two : ). Bromance/sismance is a term initially used for strong friendship (including between blood brothers/sisters) more emotionally intimate and more multidimensional than basic buddy friendship. BL/GL are gay romances. I highly doubt that this is BL, I just think most people see what they want to see you know xD ? This happens with most drama featuring two MLs and strong friendships, but most of the time it really is bromance and not BL.

I don't watch BL but I 100% agree with everything you say about bromances and the true meaning of the term. THANK YOU. Gosh. This should be a fricking pinned comment or something. The way people replied to you is insane.

It's so annoying that people always mix up the two and make it look like it's the same. You just can't enjoy a good bromance (in its true platonic meaning) without everyone making innuendos and making it all gay. But anyway. Thanks for clarifying that this drama's not gay, I'm always hesitant to watch shows when I see people going bl-crazy about the "bromance" in it, as much as I like actual real bromances. Especially when, most of the time, it really is a beautiful friendship but people choose to interpret it as sexual and mock or insult you if you don't see it that way.

Thanks for the list. Some are more like censored gay romances than real bromances/friendships so I haven't seen them, but for those I've watched I've voted for Live Surgery Room, The Guest (the trio's friendship is so beautiful), Under the Skin, School 2013 (a few beautiful friendships including between the girls), Miraculous Brothers and Circle. I noticed you haven't added Unnatural Fire, is it because you didn't like it or you don't know it ? It's a trio friendship as well (m/m/f like The Guest) that is very nice.

Tell me about it, all my reviews are so long it's ridiculous and most of the time I don't even realise it until I'm done but reading yours it didn't seem like it was long, it's well structured. She's pretty, sure but she also acts very well and idk I just really like her for some reason 😄. Idk Elvis Han yet, but maybe I will if someday I watch this drama xD.
