I was reminded of this drama 6 years after I watched it. Because of AKMU and Lee Sun Hee's collaboration. I just knew I heard that voice before, it was Fox Rain!
Ep 9-10...couple Puth and Kaeng...This is the only couple I've liked so far .... incredible chemistry breaks out…
It was the best 2 episodes so far indeed. Actors did a really good job, however the way Puth's character was made, failed to convince me he was actually in love with Kaeng. Kaeng very obviously showed how much he loves him, but Puth just seemed honestly into the tutor dude and really annoyed with Kaeng. Therefore the ending felt more like deus ex machina. However much I enjoyed their chemistry, I would have probably liked it more if they didn't end up together.
Who could have imagined that people would be so divided in the comments. I could not imagine I'd be scrolling and shaking my head with disbelief of some peoples ideas. This is mind boggling.
I did not get the reason Jo Jo and Sun Oh got attracted to each other in the first place. It honestly looked more like a need than a genuine affection. They do say we be looking for the pieces of trauma we experienced during childhood in our future partners.. That's probably what it was. In the end Sun Ho really was a poor dude a bit overly obsessed with his ex, not able to move on even an inch. The end didn't feel satisfying for him at all. No development, no actual resolution; I honestly feel sorry for him. Hye Young however, what a precious baby. I tried to name his characteristics and he honestly sounds almost perfect. Maybe a bit too selfless but so SO PRECIOUS!! Kim Jo Jo. Annoying indecisive traumatized child. tsk tsk tsk go to therapy girl!! The whole love alarm idea is still ridiculous and weird. Pretty darn annoying many of times. Overall, the story had too many unsatisfying aspects and yet kept me intrigued to watch it all. It left me with a lot of swampy feelings: muddy, sad, unresolved...The ending felt so fake "happy" even though most of the characters need extensive therapy. Honestly, love alarm probably caused the whole population to need therapy.
The cry Gene is experiencing is the best kind of cry you can have. It's so SO painful, the cry of sorrow, but in the end it's SO refreshing. Growing- standing up for yourself doing something that makes you feel proud of you, is difficult but it's so rewarding!!
The Lighthearts- All That I Want
cries in insanity
Cries like a baby.
However much I enjoyed their chemistry, I would have probably liked it more if they didn't end up together.
