I'm an 'oldie' too. (Yep, same age! :D ) I am gay. My issue with the whole "I'm not gay, I just love a man" thing is that, 1) yes, they ARE using labels by denying that they're gay, and 2) by denying that they could be gay, they're implying that that's a bad thing.

If they were really 'looking past labels,' they'd say something more like, "Gee, I just had sex with a guy. Maybe I am gay. Maybe not. So what?"

If you're looking for a 'happily-ever-after' ending, then not really. Sorry. Still a good film tho

It's essentially a one-joke episode, however there were other funny moments too. I don't know why I found the line "You are the last gay man on earth I'd have sex with" so hilarious. :D

Good short film. Not BL, if that's what you're looking for, but it demonstrates one of the better outcomes of what could happen when coming out, and when a gay guy falls in love with a straight guy.

As someone quite a bit outside the market demographic (i.e., I'm a guy in my 50s), I'm grateful they showed Kan and Coach's age-disparate relationship end on a good note.

It's bad enough we've had to suffer through decades of regular LGBT relationships getting the short end of the stick in mass media; May-December romances get it worse.
