so is no one gonna mention the gross kidnapping + sexual assault scene ?? not surprised since y'all nut over…
That scene bothers many fans, so don't generalize. It really sticks out like a sore thumb for me, compared to the rest of the story. Still the best drama in my opinion, despite that scene.
Abuse is in the eye of the beholder. To me, Gu Hai was of a solid enough constitution, and probably trusted Bai Luo enough, to be able to have it slide off. YMMV.
Im reading the novel now, who is Xiao Hai ? Is he Gu Hai as well ? Im confused why they are interchanging Xiao…
I haven't read the novel, but "xiao" in Chinese can mean "little," sort of a term of endearment. So, yes, those are likely 2 names for the same character.
Seriously, though, what exactly IS pink milk? Is it like strawberry flavored or something?
Also, that has to be the most inconvenient way to carry a drink, with a strap on top.
Does anyone know why episodes 1-3 are clear but any after that are just filmed by someone in the cinemas ?
Not sure why exactly, but it has something to do with China's censorship laws making the distribution of the later eps very difficult. I suspect we will get true HD versions of those eps eventually... or not. :D
Hi fans, I just discovered another bl film, Front Cover. I liked this film very much. If you like to check it…
It does. "Tradition" wins out over love. Which kind of surprised me because I'd liked the director's other films, which were just as 'realistic,' but weren't as much of a let down.
Wow, a BL series where the actors can actually act, and the main couple actually have a chemistry together. I'm going to have to go back and re-rate all my ratings of the other BL series I've watched.
I'm kinda confused about why Frame videoed himself, reminding himself to take care of Book and he's…
I didn't take it as so foreboding. Frame had come a long way toward self-improvement since connecting with Book, and he'd set rather big goals for himself (getting into a good university, getting a good job) so that Book's parents would likely allow Frame to marry Book. He was simply providing his future self some motivation to stay on that path. Quite romantic, really.
In Ep 13, I do love how Ohm, as Frame, gets into his part. In the scene near the pool, watch his eyes lustfully check out Book as Book walks away from him.
