As long you can over the relatively boring first 3 episodes the remaining 7 episodes are just amazingly well done.…
Well, I'm on three and wavering, so I guess I'll hang in there. The male friends are SO physically affectionate it seems BL adjacent. Also the manager is so much more good looking than the big movie star that it seems weird. The female lead is kind of awkward but funny enough to outperform everyone else.

Watched an episode and a half. The drama sets up an interesting legal environment. The characters draw you in with their acumen. I checked to see if the leads will develop a romantic relationship, but apparently the age difference is putting people off. I will stop watching because the scene is set perfectly for such a relationship to develop and my disappointment won't let me continue.

Just finished drama. Found the characters very immature and/or cutesy given their stated age. The slew of men in the AI world are very attractive but pretty much interchangeable. If Korean society is really so fraught with work stress and polite standoffishness, no wonder people need fantasy settings to get through life. Another thing that bothers me is the endless drinking of alcohol to the point where people are senseless or it is shown to be the only time they can attempt intimacy.

Person Deng Kai
Doesn't look like he has any dramas coming up worth his salt. What a waste. In POJ he was able make viewer care about him despite being evil and almost beyond redemption.

Person Li Qing
Definitely leading man material.

As someone who has followed the Chinese entertainment industry for quite a long time, I have to say this isn’t…
The Cdrama industry is fraught with exploitation of actors. It's almost hard to justify watching the output. The actors are worked to death, starved to death, frozen to death (I constantly see them in flimsy outfits while seeing their breath as they say their lines) and on top of all that they face the whims of industry bureaucrats in what the public gets to see of their hard work as censorship prevails.

Yeah, this. Seems like since Ep 29 everything is rushed and chopped together. We're definitely getting a condensed…
That's sad. At least they are still lingering on the 'sweet' moments.
On Pursuit of Jade 22 days ago
Just starting ep 33. What's going on? Are the fighting scenes getting too expensive or too boring? Why are we constantly getting only the blood-dripping aftermath of corpses lying around and the injured limping along? Enlighten me.

Just finished episode 23 and now they are going to laddle them out one by one. This is so bloody frustrating. Wish I could control myself and wait until March 30 to see them all at once but I would have such bad withdrawel symptom cramping my romantic style. Besides there is nothing else to watch right now.
On Pursuit of Jade Mar 14, 2026
Very satisfying romantic drama with rich characters who also have the ability to take on evil forces.

Sweetie, that wasn’t sex.
I rewatched it and can only say Liu Yuning (top or bottom) is enough to make you melt.

Sweetie, that wasn’t sex.
Well, for a Cdrama it was sex adjacent.

Title Pursuit of Jade Spoiler
Just finished ep 17. Little bit of 'rough sex' at the beginning that resulted in misunderstandings and alienation. He did ask her to come along with him. Didn't she even consider that option?

100% agree, but I heard that season 2 takes place in 1979. So they're definitely covering Park Chung-Hee's assassination,…
Interesting. Thanks for this, I'll give it a try.
On Pursuit of Jade Mar 10, 2026
Episode 12, I'm not feeling it. This whole subplot with 'evil' Qu Min threatening Qian Qian is a sideshow. The female friendship over 'braised pork' works as does live-in hubby's food stall antics. Let's have more revelations on why he's hiding 'under this bushel'.

Title Unmasked
I just finished it and found it totally captivating throughout. The drama with a formidable female lead. Other characters also added to making this media environment authentic. The corruption of the upper layer of society were expected but the cruelty and debauchery was depressing. I hope there is a season two.
On Made in Korea Mar 1, 2026
This is definitely better than the ratings indicate. Baek is an amoral hunk of cruelty. For all his charisma, he's totally asexual. Ikeda Yuji is a tall glass of cool, tut has 'daddy' issues.Jang is a laughable goof with a whipsmart cranium. He's a joy to watch. Then he invitable hits his head against that wall of power. I'm just watching the last episode of this and many aspects of Korean hierarchy and culture are really troubling. The regimentation and group-think are fascistic. There's suppost to be another season. What could they possibly do that hasn't been done?

Title About Love
the character is really bland but Manhua reader's was happy with Liu yuning's portrayal if it's not Liu Yuning…
Thanks for the info. I looked up the director and he does have some solid dramas under his belt. Here the writing and the acting could have a lot to do with the end product. I love Liu Yuning as an actor and a human being so as a favor I'm not rating this.

This material really doesn't stand up to Liu Yuning's abilities. What a waste.

Why are people dropping this drama by ep 5? Is the choppy editing such a big issue, like it breaks your immersion…
I didn't even make it that far. Think I'll spend my time heading back to finish How Are You.
