I miss the younger version of Sen. Maybe this one will grow on me. Her father is a despicable creep. It was lovely to see her mother and brother being able to 'give the bride away'. The star of the show was the bridegroom who out did himself to make her long-awaited dreams come true. May their productive relationship continue.

Episode 23 I loved that little herbal to and fro between our sparing couple. She's clearly the best strategist, but he's no slouch at surving either. The cutting cruelty by many of the side characters which is couched in polite conversation makes fascinating foreplay to the danger it holds.

I watch mostly historical Kdrama and some contemporary action ones so I'm not able to judge if this romance drama and it's characters are typical. I had a hard time believing the main characters were 29 years old. Such emotional immaturity is shocking. The adults (most of them professors) were much the same plus throw in some heavy doses of vanity, cruelty and greed. The only adult in the room was Cha Young In. Kim Min Jae was outstanding in his role as the tortured pianist and his beautiful hands helped to sell the character. Was surprised to realize that I've seen this actor in many historical dramas because here he totally seemed new to me. Will catch up on all his other contemporary dramas now.

That's foolish because she's brave and she's also his best support.

Why? What are they afraid of?

Ep 18 why are they working in some stupid, unbelievable estrangement now that she's back in the Capital and he has achieved a higher rank?

Their demise made me happy. I guess we all get our kicks differently.

I thought I could make it to the end, but I don't think I can stomach MengMeng's new identity and screwing over the Emperor who has done a great job and has supported and loved her despite all opposition.

Just watched ep 27 and the only thing bigger than Gu Qin's crimes is his adam's apple. Zhili a trooper and manages to survive her broken heart with spirit. What's happened to Zhishu?

Well, that was worth the wait. Season 1 set up the characters but was very claustrophobic. Here we get the full treatment. The budget must have been insane. Nice niece grew into her role of honing her killer instinct. Uncle still knows how to let his hair down at just the right time. Sadly, some lovely family members met their demise. Not sadly, the insane screaming MiMi with an insatiable appetite for violence finally got to eat a bullet.

That Gu Qin really is evil personified. Zhili is silly. Sounds like Tinghu is a cookoo in the Great Daning nest. Yinggua thinks he's in control but there is someone pulling on his heartstrings. Hid eunuch is a joke who stubbles in at all the inappropriate times with nothing that can't wait for another day or forever.

Finally got through this. Liked the slowly firming up of the leads relationship. The Oska relationship's on and off was tiresome, but his singing did give me the goosebumps. Mothers in these drama are often depicted as vile, overbearing characters in the one in this one to top prize.
Female lead's mix of strength and kindness was endearing and I can fully understand why he fell head over heels.

I'm watching this because there isn't much else in historical Cdramas. Not your typical ML hero, but the FL is smart and resourceful. All that salt business is pretty confusing. Did he get all that money and salt for grandma or what?

As much as I love Namkoong Min I lave to stop watching this idiotic drama. After episode six I've had enough of the ceaseless violence. Now that the even more unhinged wifey has entered the picture I'm out. TeaJu has a gun and he doesn't use it on these slimeballs. He deserves that shovel up the side of his head.

I hate that the smart Zhili is taken in by her 'master'. Tinghui is relentless in her pursuit of evil. His Majesty couldn't fight his way out of a paper bag but he could win any staring contest.

So far so good. Four episodes in and we are getting acquainted with our heroes and villains (that widow is full of spite). The FL manages to survive granny's liquid death, nothing noble about some of these nobles. The ML is bluffing his way to get some financial benefits. The road ahead will show whether they still need to have a need for each other's survival.

Agreed, but he does seem to know how to quickly make his way out of captivity with bags of stuff that we never see him use while walking through a jungle that looking at it overhead never seems to end.

Loving it. Great female characters who are self-reliant and smart. The Ml is good-looking enough for my discerning tastebuds. The evil goons are mostly motivated by money. The addictive pills are just a little over the top. It looks like there will be much more coming out about the FL's origins that will complicate matters.

In episode 6 that Japanese bitch, who has a terrible English accent, thinks she will be able to hear everything that is said because of the implant. Hasn't anyone ever told her people can write? Bangkonk has taken an arm and a leg from Jinmanis who is conked out at this point The Thai infiltrator is now wearing a necklace that will see everything he sees. My question is, why would the people at Jinman's headquarters not be suspicious of him knowing that his son, Atti, is being held by Babylon? Pasin sounds like a Zombie with a brain implant but I thought the one he got was in his abdomen? I thought niece had learned to stop being nice. Here she gets totally rolled by 'master' and has let the foxy Japanese and her merciless crew into the henhouse.
