ARP's styling in character posters looked damp but I still love him so I'll sit through this. Hope the story is worth it and won't be disappointing πŸ˜‹

why is nobody talking about Qi Feng?? I’m obsessed. His character is sooo good. I mean, ofc I love Other characters…
Same! I like him more than Fu Ling. Both were screwed, killed innocents but at least Qi Feng was never whitewashed for his mistakes. His death scene broke me :"((

Couldn't watch LOTDT coz I was too high on MM back then. I was about to watch AMBF but I read the reviews saying…
I didn't like The Glory much because I don't like that kind of FLs. At a point I felt she was becoming more psychopathic than being smart or badass. Romance was a huge disappointment. I don't know why they even ended up together. Started great but ended up upsetting me.
Have you tried Destiny and Saving (Clash of Titans)? Any idea if it's worth watching?

Ex-campers of MM, where are you guys at now? I couldn't find any drama to watch now. The last good one were this…
Couldn't watch LOTDT coz I was too high on MM back then. I was about to watch AMBF but I read the reviews saying it wasn't worth it. So far I've only finished Les Belles and The Glory. Both were good but also had their own down points where I lost interest and I was just skipping. They're airing every other drama apart from the ones I'm excited for!!😭

I'm seated for Bailu's perfomance. She looks so much more convincing than she ever did. This woman definitely knows how to beat her own record!πŸ§ŽπŸ»β€β™€οΈ Also, I loveeeeee the stunts (the one they've included in the video materials). Also excited to see Dai Lu Wa. My cute little Bai sisters!!!skskskskksks 🫠🀏🏻

I don't dislike the romance between Qianluo and Xiao Se. But I dislike the unwanted love angle between Lei Wujie and Ruoyi. ARP looks like a baby in this drama and the actress playing Ruoyi looks older and far more mature. When they first introduced her I thought he might just have a fleeting crush on her. Lei Wujie is literally a baby. We didn't need to have him 'fall in love' for someone.

I kinda like Qianluo and Xiao Se's scenes so far. Moreover I feel it's only fair that Xiao Se has a romantic interest in the drama for all the charm he has.

On Such a Good Love Apr 5, 2025
I'm not sure if I'm liking or disliking this drama yet.

Things I don't like:
1. Long scenes of them dancing and imagining their future life. I found it cute when they did it the first time, but the second time? Nope. Are they teens? I don't know, but I found them as filler scenes.
2. Dancing in public places. I get the second hand embarrassment on their behalf😭. The scenes are shot pretty well so they look good to the eyes but the more I think about them the more embarrassing they get.
3. The love story was too fast. They just met eachother (and the fact that he was filming her every now and then without consent was triggering but maybe it's because we all have grown accustomed to voicing such stuff more than what people back then did?), became friends and suddenly they're so attached that they wanna continue struggling just to see each other on New Year's. A little slow pacing would've been better imo.

(I'm not counting this as a con of the drama. It's a personal preference that I am not a fan of sunset color grading in dramas. It makes me feel uncomfortable and a little nauseous. I like cooler tones more)

Things I like:
1. The romance is cringey but it doesn't completely lack depth. Especially the arc where she gets sick and he struggles to meet the ends to get her the treatment speaks a lot. They might seem like weirdos but they're still deeply in love.
2. I like how they're supporting each other, learning from mistakes and are growing more mature with each episode.
3. I am a sucker for stories where the characters navigate through the ups and downs of life together. And they're serving it

After completing this and thinking about a few things I feel down. Like I haven't felt male lead powerful particularly…
Yeah well because Mo Li and Fan Yue/Jing Yuan are equally powerful. Mo Li didn't even attack Bright Moon Palace for that reason. Plus, Mo Li wanted Fan Yue to create that barrier so he loses his powers and becomes weak. He killed many and used the human blood sacrifice to break it, that too after Fan Yue became weak. And it wasn't really a big task to kill mere mortals. Even Fan Yue could've done that. It has been implied so many times that Mo Li and Jing Yuan/ Fan Yue stood at equal stance. And thus only the one who got the Divine Bow could be able to defeat the other. Basically Mo Li didn't even use his own powers to break the barrier. He just killed innocents and those with less powers to break the barrier.

I did feel he was powerful. And I can understand where this complaint is coming from. Moonlight lacks a lot of substantial fight sequences. That's one of the cons of the drama. And thus people overlook the minor details like Fan Yue chopping of his tail (Zhen Yu was even more experienced and older Demon King), or the other smaller demons, eternals fearing him or the fact that he used all his powers to create the protection barrier even tho it could cost him his life. People wanted to see him win fights in the blink of his eye and this drama doesn't carter to that kind of audience. And ofc I am not blaming you. I'm just helping you to see the fact that he was indeed powerful. Also do you even realise that "how he could simply cut his tail"? Zhen Yu wasn't an idiot whose tail could've been cut by anyone. The fact that Fan Yue swiftly cut it with so much ease already speaks how effortlessly powerful he was. I know this drama lacks high level fight sequences but that doesn't underestimate the fact that the characters were strong and powerful. Fan Yue is one of the strongest ones imo. He was already so famous for his strength that at max people took indirect jabs at him or used his weakness against him (which isn't even a fair fight imo). Why should he go around attacking others if they didn't attack him first?πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

If you feel like Xianxia is not your genre, I would suggest you to watch more of dramas like Love Of The Divine Tree and Blood Of Youth (this even stars Ao Ruipeng).

It's not Wuxia lmao. It's Xianxia. Xianxia and Wuxia are two separate categories. I don't get the point of "Wuxia is less or xianxia is less". Xianxia stories are the ones which revolve around immortals.

Coming to "hasn't seen clearly", I highly recommend you to check this post first.

Well that's a thing they can do regarding the script. The script is male centric so it gives him a good chance to shine in the project well. Maybe that's the reason why he said yes to it. I don't think it's on their hand to choose the co star they want to work with. Dailuwa joining the drama was a news that came after ARP's. Plus, you know there's this thing β€” the script matters to actors more than the sentiments. Idk but I am really disturbed with this casting. I wanted to see more of both ARP and DLW. The family tree is not the only reason for my annoyance. I thought DLW's performance in MM was too brilliant and I was expecting her to get projects which are female centric and actually require her character in the story instead of just being there as a sidelined lead

Yups. There's no particular date announced for drama filming but someone said that he might be filming this month.

I didn't know DLW is also coming on KR. I only know about ARP, and Cheng Lei and some are speculating about Wang Xingyue too. I don't mind who comes or not unless they don't rob me of Lulu ARP content πŸ™Š

So far there's no solid evidence for it. There's a just mention that ARP will be having drama filming in April. Now we don't know what drama it is. I read a πŸ‰ that the team will be shooting for an upcoming drama in Hengdian by the end of April. But yeah well, even I'm a little disappointed.

I don't know whom I should be disappointed on. It's not really his fault cause' C-ent somehow ends up casting actors as per their own preference without bothering if they played a brother sister duo in their previous shows. Which is kind of awkward.

As far as I can guess, Bailu is a big name. It's not like the casting directors have no idea about MM's existence. Moreover the actors themselves don't have the required chemistry to be casted as a 'couple'.

I know this is partial of me to think like this but I genuinely don't like when the family tree of my fav dramas are ruined. Already I'm unsure of the dynamics in CD (I skimmed through a few chapters of the book). Upon that they're doing thisπŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸ˜

There are already rumors of them to start the filming by the end of April (it's also included in ARP's schedule). Like it's almost confirmed with the location and stuff but god forbid, this ship is going to be a disaster honestly. It's not just the MM's family tree but I don't really see them fit well as a pair. They look like siblings to some extent.

I love them both but I don't want to see them get paired as a couple. It'll be nice if they keep it like TBOY 😭

I guess it's time to say goodbye to MM's memories so that I can watch ARP and Dailuwa together as a ship instead of feeling awkward about the family tree in MMπŸ₯²

I was timid enough. I did assume a lot of stuff after watching it but still some things went opposite to what…
Before I knew MDL exists, reddit and insta were my only go to websites to read reviews. Both the places are filled with people who try to maintain their image well as a 'critique' and often post a lot of negative stuff about shows. And by 'infamous' I'm not saying that it's any bad. Many complained about the spoilers in it. Like I remember some influencer on instagram also posted a reel about dramas have spoilery intro and many people in the comments where like "Moonlight Mystique πŸ˜‚"
