I wonder if 2ML turned out to be more interesting/likable than they planned him to be and that's why they added his backstory? To me it feels like either PSH didn't quite know what to do with his character because there wasn't much to work with on paper or the director told him to go this route. Either way, to me there's no real personality here. That plus I still don't see any chemistry between him and FL. I still like to watch every other couple in this more than ML &FL.

No offence taken, we're not talking about my family lmao So when exactly did ML say anything interesting? You say he isn't boring because he has a real job and is mature. That it? How is that correlated? I don't see that. 2ML is handsome, yes, why is that bad? ML could be just as attractive to me (as the actor was in different roles) if he didn't act the way he did. I'm not even saying 2ML is the right choice for FL, I'd just like her to give the men equal opportunities. 2ML gets to see the real FL and that's why their interactions are way more interesting to me. She actually talks back to him and isn't as passive. I hated when ML talked about their kiss in the cafe just to make 2ML hear it. That was disrespectful and childish. If 2ML did sth like that you bet FL would give him the proper response. Here she just sat there like a good little wife and didn't say anything. All that to say this: I don't like FL when she's with ML and that has nothing to do with looks.

He has a "real" job and that's what makes him not boring? Remind me: when did he have an interesting conversation with FL? And he is very much "acting tough and cool" whenever he meets 2ML and tries to mark his territory. That's childish behavior, not maturity.
I'm 30 minutes into ep 5 and f me those people are so boring! 2nd couple is kinda interesting but the mains?! What happened to 2ML? He used to be so interesting now all he does is try to annoy ML & FL. He asked that guy (who was supposed to go on a date with FL) for her phone number because he was so into her, what happened with that? He tries nothing? Just waits for her to grab a coffee?? What's with all the passiveness in this show, it's exhausting smh
Edit: Finished ep 5 and boy they did the lawyer so dirty. My man played a two-faced villain once and they refuse to let him play anything else smh And FL.... She had so much chemistry with ML, the attraction was palpable, and now all is forgotten. She has no feelings left but still keeps him around and pretends she doesn't notice his intentions. Or rather -as is a common trope in these dramas- she doesn't *realize* he has feelings. 🙄🙄 She is completely oblivious and ML *has to* step in to draw the line when she interacts with him. What a hero smh I hate how insecure and childish ML acts whenever he meets 2ML. The way he couldn't even talk about the kiss when with FL but he had no problem mentioning it with 2ML around. And what made it even more infuriating for me was FL's reaction to that awkward situation- which was silence.
I'm giving this one more episode, hopefully sth changes and soon.
Ep. 4: I don't see where the attraction between the main leads is supposed to come from. I don't feel anything looking at them. Their interactions so far just seem forced and awkward- but not in a "we're so attracted to each other that it makes us nervous and awkward"- way but in a "I don't have anything to talk about with this person"- kinda way. They sit next to each other in a somewhat romantic setting (the campfire) and he's READING A BOOK! Are you dumb, sir?! And he's supposed to be the man who was waiting , no LONGING for her to text him smh And that he's supposed to be so smitten by her just because she, what, doesn't ignore the kid lmao I know that whole camping-drama was supposed to be serious but it was so funny to me. He actually thought she came to apologize and that's it? What are you, 5? Can't two things be true? She's not allowed to think about her job after all that happened? I'm 15 minutes into ep 2 and so far this is a) dragging and b) the exposition is killing me! Whennn will they finally learn to show and not tell? We could be so much further in the story by now if they didn't spell out everything. smh

He didn't even text her after their date. I loved that she asked him straight out if she should meet someone else. Now it's on him. Either show her your sincerity or watch how another guy does.🤷🏻♀️
I forced myself to watch the first 3 or so episodes and after that I started to enjoy this. Up until halfway through when ML was hardly ever seen and they kept on repeating and stretching the stories. Then ML was back in the game and for a second I was excited to see his hurt and frustration and what could come out of it. Instead he gave up and became passive- which could've been an interesting and believable twist as well but nothing came out of that either?? They stretched it for so long that when Tengda finally closed down I didn't even care. He didn't even tell his team the whole truth or did I miss that? Then an episode later all is back to normal. Frustrating and disappointing for me.
