This is why I am not thrilled with Asian dramas produced/released exclusively for Netflix. They love to split…
Although Vagabond is styled as a „Netflix Original“ it wasn’t produced by Netflix. They just bought it after it was already filmed. The Production company Celltrion already planned Vagabond as a one season Drama with a possible season two long before Netflix got involved.
Yesterday (or today for me) were the SBS Drama Awards and Vagabond did really well (5 prizes). During their speech for the Best Couple Award LSG and Suzy didn't deny a second season and LSG said that if the producers hurry and make a decision it could happen. By the way Suzy won an Top Excellence Award for her acting ^^.
Ok, theory time kiddies! First, we totally called it with Edward. Based on the preview, my guess is Hae Ri thinks…
I think that Dal Geon will join some mercenary group, perhaps even Black Sun, to get close to Samael and kill him . Hae Ri definitly believes that Dal Geon is dead, so she seems be hell-bent on revenge.
I'm still very sad that our adorable couple will be separated for several years.
Lily and her north korean lap dog are extremely entertaining. It's too bad that there seems to be no time for those two to work with the good guys. A Scene with Lily checking Dal Geon out or even flirting with him and a jealous Hae Ri would have been great.
Was it Go Hae Ri? She seemed not to feel anything, but do you think she brushed it off?
There was a scene in the 2. Teaser where Cha Dal Gun is carrying an obviously hurt Go Hae Ri in exactly these clothes, so I was already pretty sure who got hit by the second shot. The preview for the next episode looks very promising...
Now I'm really excited for the next episode. It's great to see that Cha Dal Gun starts to realize that this whole thing isn't just about his revenge and him dying. A lot of people were already killed alongside the road, but up until now all of them were strangers. Now the families of the other victims were hurt during the struggle in front of the court and it really seems to shock him. We all know who got hit by Lily's second shot, so the next episode will be epic. Lee Seung GI is amazing in these action stunts, but I absolutely love him in emotional scenes.
