Thoroughly enjoyed this one. Great acting and story telling

female roles are obviously introduced for the sake of more women in the series. I doubt all those love interests exist with the exception of Ying Si’s Queen and Mi Ba Zi. zhang yi’s romances are especially annoying and only serve as fillers in an otherwise interesting historical drama. Fu Da Long is an excellent Ying Si. The acting of yu en tai as zhang yi is at times exaggerated,

Not 40 episodes but 38 episodes as the 1st and 2nd episode are just the repeat of the last 2 episodes of season 2. One would expect a summary not repeat! pure laziness。

On to episode 5, and the FL character continues to be annoying and totally irrelevant

love the chemistry between the two MLs. crime solving from a portraitist’s perspective is refreshing. Hope there is really a season 2

Really enjoying this but have to mention the nicely manicured finger nails of the female prisoner in episode 6, lol

Is this FL another lame Jin Mi (AOL), what’s this with Chinese drama loving an innocent, lame, naive FL who has no idea of the meaning of love thingy

Same here. I could not finish Eternal Love even after fast forwarding 😂 , it was just too predictable and annoying after a while though the FL there is not as lame and irritating as silly Jin Mi

Omg must these FL start off every xianxia dramas behaving like spoilt irritating naive fools everyone loves , sheesh..

After many weeks ploughing through this melodramatic drama, skipping many boring or irritating parts, I finally finished. 2 handsome MLs fighting over plain clueless often annoying Mary Sue FL was my main complaint, anyway never like love triangles more so when it’s the focus of the story. Totally forgettable

Enjoyable time travel plot though the repetitive police interviews did become annoying as the story progressed. Top notch acting all around and for once I was not irritated with the FL as I often tend to be in C dramas. And the ending was very pleasing

Dropped it after episode 17. Plot is boring as ditch water. That earthquake arc might as well be a documentary on how well the Chinese rescue their own.

Into episode 11, so far I just find the Fl boring, at times annoying as she is such a clueless Mary Sue character, all nice and innocent

Well I for one can’t stand the FL in Chinese drama with their often clueless Mary Sue characters, fragile looks and squeaky voices and all the men moaning over them like love sick fools

Solid plot and acting. Only complaint is the ML (Cha Tae Joo) who is such a colourless character, he is more like a kind stupid social worker with his goofy face than a competent judge

I stopped after episode 4. Just could not continue watching the FL cartoonish character who is adored by many. I started Eternal Love and that FL character is more tolerable.
