i wasn’t sure i was going to like this based on the first few episodes but i think it got better every episode. it’s definitely bonkers but in a good way, it’s one of those shows you can watch without a single braincell and i love the crackhead energy. enjoyable and fun to watch

also that scene where gene was drunk and tried seduce nubsib! thank you for that!!! even though there has been some creepy vibes coming from nubsib i loved the way he stopped gene and talked to him and explained that they needed more time!!! for once in a bl a drunk person was not taken advantage of and instead they talked about their feelings and nubsib gave gene the comfort and the love he needed without crossing a line!! love it

Well, everyone has their preferences. I'm kind of a cardboard cutout myself and that's probably why i tend to like charachters like that, i guess. I feel like (or i hope) muren may have an interesting backstory and i like that he's kinda quiet and mysterious. Also what comes to their looks i think muren is handsome in a very beautiful way, he's almost like an elf or something. But everyone has their own standards and that's okay

not gonna lie, i was disappointed...i’m trying not to judge after just the first episodes but i’m afraid history4 may not live up to my extremely high expectations after history3. teng muren seems like an interesting character but xiao lichen is just quite annoying and the acting style isn't really my cup of tea. and that other couple??? that stalker is a fucking hell nope from me, there's no way i'll ever ship a couple like that.

also, the way it’s shot is super distracting to me, i don’t know how to describe it in english but it’s just super fluid, i feel like i’m watching a video game or something

i don’t know what to feel about this series. i mean i love the way they expose the creepiness of the bl industry (like for example that bau is creepy af) and the characters and the production are great but sometimes it’s just too damn awkward for me to watch.
i love up as gene, he’s so funny i was actually laughing out loud! it feels weird seeing kao in a role like this but every time he’s acting bit more serious i fall in love with him all over again

i have never seen a series this beautiful before. honestly i have no words left. i'm blown away every week. i feel so peaceful and happy watching it and at the same time i wanna cry my eyes out. a real masterpiece

yep i think you're right. they're probably going to introduce her better in the next ep so i'm excited to know more about them. it was just funny when i first thought she was his mom and i was shocked af like how can he say mung to his mom XD lol but i think you're right that she's his sister

i honestly liked this show a lot! i got frustrated at one point and dropped it for a while but then got back to it and liked it again. i loved the bi representation like honestly pearl's thoughts were my thoughts! the show was super relatable to me and i was so happy how every issue was dealt with. i loooved seeing women openly dating and flirting like it was normal without any internalized homophobia crap or like stress about social norms or anything! i wasn't super thrilled with the ending though i didn't hate it either.. it was kinda just the easy way out for the writers in my opinion. however i'm team SINGLE PEARL!! both alex and karleen were often possessive and unfair

and yes it did take me two months to finish the last two episodes

BAD acting and everyone has like huge emotional baggage. exhausting. nothing makes sense. the first few episodes were promising but then it all fell apart. the main couple is kinda cute sometimes. cass is the best character and cute af

i was very positively surprised by this! i was living for the way they acknowledged the problematic stuff in the bl world. my ears were kind of hurting from all the sound effects but otherwise i don't mind them. acting is great and i really like Up as Gene! i think this will be a good and refreshing series, not too serious, just a light and funny show.
but Kao as a 20-year old :D :D why couldn't he be his own age like he don't look like 20 i'm sorry :D he's too damn gorgeous tho, i had already forgotten how pretty he is !!
