i really liked this one! it's super unique and interesting and just very lovely! since the episodes are so short it maybe could have been a movie instead though. loved the ost, acting was great, visuals on point! the only thing i would change is the kiss which was kind of meh, like do people actually kiss like that? well no. lol. in my opinion the series would have been fine even without it. but all in all a very good series, short but sweet :)
ugh honestly i wish this show would've been like 'how to get over a douchebag' or something where chon realizes that ton ain't shit and falls in love with na instead
this series started out so well but it turned out to be just another cringefest
and pls don't try to feed us this bullshit that ton had realized he was in love with chon since childhood... sure he probably always was not-straight but he was so deep in that closet that it would have taken centuries to dig that boy out of there
and the ending..............................surrogacy ended homophobia?? i have no words
i'm sorry this is super irrelevant but why is everyone always bringing food for doctor bun?? XD i mean the lady…
I never knew this! That's just very nice and friendly. I wish we were more like that in my country too! I once had to go borrow some eggs from my neighbour and my mom could've killed me cause she was so ashamed? it's just lovely if people like to take care of each other!
idk about this one. first of all the story was a bit odd in my opinion like i didn't quite get why someone would want people to promote themselves at their wedding? like it would've made more sense if the couple had hired kane and the chef separately and somehow they would've met that way or something...idk anyway it could've been real cute and all but somehow it just wasn't. i just couldn't figure out one single reason why the main couple would have fallen for each other. kane looks like a teenager and the older dude looks, well, old.. it was kinda cute when kane had a crush on the chef but why would the chef fall for a kid? nah.. and soda..i get that he has unresolved issues from his past but come on, if you're marrying someone then please commit to it with your whole heart. also if my partner would say 'whatever, everything is fine, you decide' on everything regarding our marriage, bruh let me tell you, i'd flip out
anyway, the feels just weren't there though it wasn't you know bad either, it was just kinda meh... i did really like the chef as a character though and the actor was good too but it just wasn't enough to lift up the show for me (reading the comments i noticed that most people didn't like him at all but i somehow like characters like this and he was my absolute fave :D) (also the chef looked a bit like the 30-year old virgin writer in cherry magic and that made me giggle :D)
i'm sorry this is super irrelevant but why is everyone always bringing food for doctor bun?? XD i mean the lady doctor, oat, sorn ?? i'd get it if they were product placements or something but they're not. i'm just confused :D are thai people really just super generous or what is this
the show is great though, it's not perfect but i enjoy it a lot. something different for a change
honestly if this show did not have ton in it i think i would love it. like chon moving in with ai and ni and the show being about a chaotic but lovable gay commune (+ miriam) and na trying to hit on chon at school. 10/10 would watch that shit! i don't need anymore toxic and lame relationships thank youu next
(and it's nothing against p'pod, he's great but ton as a character and this mess of a love story with him and chon just wasn't it for me)
oh my lord i took so long to watch this and god the amount of tears i wept. this show is literally so fucking good that i haven't watched anything so spellbinding in a very long time. it felt almost the same as when i discovered the lord of the rings for the first time or something, a whole new world opened up for me. the show is so beautiful and the story so amazing that i probably can't get over it in a while. oh how i wish thai series were this long with so many episodes and with production this great.. the only minus is obviously the censorship but oh well what can you do. i almost didn't mind it, this was just so well made and the emotions are beautifully portrayed even despite of it. i literally just cannot fathom how forced rape and incest are more okay to show on tv than a homosexual relationship. (also i fell in love with wen ning, he's the cutest fucking thing)
it really bothers me when a character goes from "i'm 100% straight" to "i love you, let's fuck" in two seconds, like in the first 7 episodes nothing happened and tonhon was the most homophobic closeted dude in history and all of a sudden after one talk with na he's like 'ok i'm gay so let's go have gay sex and i'll love you forever chon' ?? like people don't work like that??? i would have wanted to see ton and chon taking things slow, like just kissing and something and getting comfortable with each other in a new way before having sex and confessing their love. idk man my expectations are always just way too high lmao
what even is this show? XD i liked the first couple of episodes but this is just a mess lol. that christmas party was the most awkward thing i have ever seen. i honestly felt it. the characters are super messy and the story is weird. also, who buys a cat for a present, wtf was that?? i like the chemistry between the main actors though the acting ain't amazing but josh and andrei are just super annoying and chesca gurl what are you doing?? the only character i really like is cass, she is super gorgeous ps DONT drink and drive my friends!
sometimes a bit boring, sometimes completely bonkers but i kinda liked it ? perfect for when you want to watch something not so serious. it's kinda like one of those cringey netflix originals like christmas prince but just a gay version
i mean they are just the cutest and the softest pair ever! how could you not love them. at times it was a bit too cheesy for my liking but hey isn't that what saifah and zon are about. sometimes i just saw jimmy and tommy and not saifah and zon though but i didn't mind too much since i love them just as much as the characters lol and what i love probably the most about them is how believable those small little gestures of love are, like just the tiny pecks and loving smiles and things like that. not all couples can do that even if they can do wild sex scenes or hot make out scenes
aaaah this was soooo good! the actors were AMAZING, the story was so good and oh my god the feels!!! my heart was pounding and my cheeks were red watching the romantic scenes and my chest ached when they fought. that scene in the last episode where they were lying on the bed crying, lord that broke me! this was beautiful, a masterpiece really.
ps grumpy guys with a golden heart are my one true weakness and vlad has now earned his place in my heart
i adooooooore kokoy!! i watched the whole series in one sitting and i thought it was quite good, especially the fist couple of episodes were great. there was a lot happening so there could have been a lot more episodes because everything seemed a bit rushed and at some points i thought that i had missed some scenes. i did like the actors who played Krisha and Barry as well but don't know if i would've liked the show as much if kokoy hadn't been the lead, i mean he's just amazing. (but the fake kiss though.. why...) i liked how they addressed many different lgbt issues but i have to say i found it super weird that they still called their teacher "sir" and "mr" though she had just come out as trans but thankfully in the last episode she corrected them also, the actor was hot as hell but barry is like the least sexy name ever :D i'm sorry i just kept thinking about barry from friends
