The writing is very good, and the cinematography is also pretty great (especially when its the nights scenes). The chemistry IS off the charts, and i can not describe the butterflies i had when they were putting the suits on... I can not describe but JI Hyun looks like he his a character of a BL webtoon taken to life, he is so cute that you want to put him in your pocket and protect him. Please i beg for the rest of the episodes to able to maintain this level that the first 2 episodes set!
They really made employees compete in a PG squid game in an exchange of a price while the boss's were laughing......Was i the only one finding this degrading? And dont take this the wrong way, if this happened to me i would for sure be competing in that game, but at the same time i would be very pissed.....if that makes sense
The drama actually has a good story with a cast with chemistry and the actors are not afraid of skinship and dont look disgusted while kissing each other, One of the best KBL in a while...the god of bl is finally answering our prayers for actually good content
Not me thinking i was going to start this drama at 4.15 am cuz i thought it would be only a 15ish minutes per episodes, but BAAAAMMMM a 40 minute episode !!! That what i'm talking about give the gays their screen time, next step is a hour drama with 12/16 episodes like a normal drama
The plot itself was consistent, but honestly except for the last episode (were they were really really cute together) the drama felt more like a chinese bromance if i may say that.... Like i said the last episode was really cute and by far my favorite, but all of that for only a kiss on the ear in the end? I know they are idols and cant do that much about the script they were given but it felt like a let down because they HAVE CHEMISTRY, but it was probably the higher ups decision to not have any kiss scene. Jo Tae Hyun had more action with his friend in the nurse's office than with his actual boyfriend

Both ML an FL are what we call THE power couple, they had good chemistry and thank god they didnt make FL a damsel in distress and she could actually held her own!!!
In the first half of the drama i think the fighting choreography was one of the best i have ever seen in cdrama, i personally loved when FL used her fabric as a weapon, it was so good.
Disliked
They lost precious time with some unnecessary political stuff that could be substituted with some romance scenes. I know this was a good slow burn but i was hopping for a little more.
I still cant understand how they forgave most of the people around them especially the literally backstabbing B... that accused fl without proves
I cried A LOT because of the adopted little brother of FL. I wont forgive the writers for this one
Finally the ending could be a little bit better, they spent so much time in battle between kingdoms, and they literally gave their territory for a person who was once their enemy......LIKE WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT ?

I personally find that believable cuz one thing that some of your superiors are going to do is gaslighting you into believing thats your fault.
I would even compare this situation to when a teacher tells the class that most of their students fail their class. They be gaslighting the students making them believe that they are the problem and not the teacher that cant teach properly...i know what i'm talking cuz i had one of those

The wife knows Jie has a mistress. I feel sorry for her. She should get a makeover, and look five years younger.
What she needs now its a few HD photos of him with his mistress so she can get a good settlement in court when she asks for divorce, after that she can get that makeover and put her ass to find a better man

It honestly depends, sometimes i'm in the mood of romance so i will only watch romances, but then i also have the moments that and i had enough of romance and go watch other genres.

Its my first time watching that ML and his chemistry with FL is very good.
I will probably go with your suggestion of Royal Rumors, i haven't heard of it but i got fascinated with the synopsis
