The main bandit guy (Tiger King) in the opening scene looks like Kradum Thanayong Wongtrakul. He played Type's dad. I can't prove it because I don't read Thai, but sure does look like him behind the face tattoo,
Some of the unexplained plot points:- What was the point of EY confronting SK at the house while she was breaking…
Yep, same questions for me. I am guessing that the manager dude pursued Yoon Dong Jin with Jonathan's help, remember the conversation after their festival (I think). The were they were eating bbq on a roof top (?) and EY (or Jonathan) said he should be a band manager?
Ah well, just to be a pain in the rear end, the answers to these questions aren't the point of the show. That said: I too want the answers!!!
I really wanted to like it but what I got out of the drama "you wanna make your life better? just time travel…
Just finished it and I kinda agree with you, it would have been a more fitting (?) end. I love that he fought for his parents and the nasties (insert some more appropriate terms here) were dealt with but life isn't like that. It often seems like the bad guys win and we can't get out of seemingly hopeless situations. Good will triumph in the end and peace can be had even at rock bottom and in horrific situations.
That said with this particular ending I would have like more on FLs world. I am also one to want to know what happens after. I like to see the characters interacting after the dramatic end, in a more 'normal', ongoing situation.
Grrrrrrr, now I have MORE dramas to add to my already burgeoning to watch list :). Thanks for the list and the introduction. I look forward to watching a few of them.
That was so bad it was good. LOVED it!!! I had forgotten how bad dubbing sounds. Glad Jackie dubbed himself. Appreciate dubbing though or I would have missed so many good movies.
Just watched it again, this time I continued until after the credits. Looks like there might be a second? It would have been nice if this, as others have commented, was a drama so they could include more detail and, not just help us understand more, but to lengthen it and let us enjoy more of the story.
Another great read. I like the preschool uniforms of South Korea. Those hats are sooo cute, though I'm not sure what their point is apart from maybe being a quick school affiliation identifier (I read somewhere each preschool has it's own unique colour) From the one (so, as you wrote earlier, very factual) or two Vietnamese dramas I've seen, I like their high school uniforms (though for the girls it could be tough to run in if needed).
I too missed the weather & change in uniforms, well spotted Xiao Zi. I also find it sometimes annoying (I do quickly get over it) that all they wear is their uniform and almost nothing else, even outside of school and non-school days. Did the why for that come up in your research?
I have worn a lot of different uniforms in my life or have had guidelines for what to wear (for safety reasons) and I too appreciated not having to figure out what to wear.
Well, I don't quite know how to describe this so apologies if it comes out wrong. It feels like those OTT Japanese dramas (big reactions to things?) done Thai style. Silly. I might hang in there and see how this goes. It is also one of those advertising dramas so be warned.
Cute, good pace. Either the translation was off or the timeline skipped a fair bit, I got confused by ages and when they first met, etc. I'm sure it was mentioned that he was 20, then they were talking about meeting four years previously around he retirement from another career. Ah well, cute. A good little watch to gear up for the next big adventure.
It's not confirmed yet. Maybe it'll be sequel or it'll be standalone sequel (different story with new characters)
It'd be humorous if it were the same leads as the same characters: "NOT AGAIN!!!". Admittedly it would be difficult to write a story when they might be faster at solving it.
Hope this one goes ahead and doesn't get second season burnout.

Ep. 6 ~22 mins in.
