haha, this is horrible. But I kept watching...THAT was the longest, most drawn-out, bizarre make-out scene I think…
That bizarre make-out session was.... something. I mean seriously... "Get a Room you two!" (preferably some place more comfortable as Uno looked smooshed through the whole thing) came to mind more than once.
I kept going. You missed all of the most ridiculous stuff. It's sooooooo bad. I think it was written by some 13…
And Gaya Sa Pelikula, which is a masterpiece. But ya, I also find Filipino BL dramas preachy as all get out. I think the first Filipino BL I watched was Sakristan, in which the message seemed to be that we must follow God and not our hearts.... or something. It was so weird. I'm like... this is the opposite of a BL.
But whether the preachiness is about acceptance, or God, or HIV, or the environment, or... the list goes on and on. I came to watch a fluffy drama. I'm aware there are issues in the world that we probably should talk about, but not in every single drama. And you can't throw the most ridiculous, over-the-top trans characters I've ever seen onscreen and then preach at me about acceptance. It's such cognitive dissonance. Ya know?
I know we're not going to get it, but the Season 2 preview is HILARIOUS. I didn't realize they were doing some bastardized version of omniverse fiction. hahahahhahahahahahahaha!
OK, wtf? Was this made by ten year-olds? Barely made it through the first five minutes. Who cares what this show…
I kept going. You missed all of the most ridiculous stuff. It's sooooooo bad. I think it was written by some 13 year old boy who has no idea how to define sexuality and is.... for reasons.... apparently.... offended by intersex humans, bisexuals, and cross-dressers. This was probably the worst dreck I've ever seen in my life. But it was such a train wreck, I couldn't stop.
Episode 2 was just plain awful. The handling of sensitive and serious topics like bisexuality and intersexuality…
Wow! That was like offensive in every single way possible. What in the absolute F am I watching? Do you think the "writer" was going for this stunned feeling I'm feeling?
"Are poop jokes funnier in the Philippines and Thailand than they are elsewhere? " - It's a Korean drama thing…
Ya... the way trans characters are written in BLs is hideous. I honestly skip much of that content too (and never miss anything that has to do with the actual story). They're not funny. They're not fun. They're just annoying. Better representation would be a huge plus.
Are poop jokes funnier in the Philippines and Thailand than they are elsewhere? These happen a lot in BL. In Ep…
"Are poop jokes funnier in the Philippines and Thailand than they are elsewhere? " - It's a Korean drama thing too. Maybe it's just a general East Asian thing? That part of the world also seems to like slapstick comedy much much more than I ever will. It all makes me cringe pretty hard and most of the time just fast forward through it.
That was complete crazypants... and not necessarily in a good way. Worth a watch for the insane costuming though. Somebody found the glitter stick. And the contacts look like they hurt.
Oh my.... that plot! I mean, I've seen a few Thai shows with the pseudo-incest of totally unrelated step-brother/step-sister or step-brother/step-brother romance, but dang... true Father/Daughter? Can I just say.... ewwwwwww. That's gonna be a hard pass from me.
Is this drama have change storyline ? Or literally same with Hello Monster ? If same with Hello Monster i will…
I haven't seen Hello Monster since it came out in 2015. But it does seem to follow the same general story line. I remember the dialogue and the cat-and mouse being better in HM. The three guys don't have quite the same rapport in this as they did in HM, in my opinion. I can also, unfortunately, say that the FL doesn't get better for a long long time. Like.... episode 11 or so. Her fluffy, RomCom character in this serious, crime and murder ridden drama is really out of place. She's not comic relief so much as just... she.... she's in the wrong drama.
What's up with the FL? Everything in this drama is killing this, murder that, serial killers everywhere... and the FL acts like she wandered into a RomCom. The way she is written in this drama is so weird.
