On Find Me in Your Memory May 15, 2020
i felt like the writer of this show got a little confused because there were SO many different plot lines in this. i do feel like everything was resolved but at the same time there was so much more potential to delve deeper into the storylines they started but they wasted the opportunity? like everyone else i really loved the beginning of this & the ending was meh. i agree with the review that says this isn't a huge hit but it's not a miss either!

why did you find him entitled?
i watched it already, i was just curious about your thoughts. i can kind of see what you mean but i interpreted it a bit differently.

it seemed like he was "ruining" things for her when they were in high school, but it didn't really seem like that in college. if they showed us more examples of it, maybe i would have felt like you.

i didn't think he was a particularly great male lead/character or anything, but they were obviously trying to emphasize his worry that dating her risks their 10 year friendship.

i agree that both leads weren't that likable though. they really drove home how unfair & rude the girl was being to yeon woo but she just ran away a million times.

it had potential because i liked that they weren't trying to shame the girl's character for having more physically focused emotions, but it also felt like a cop out to make it so she was only "experienced" in theory lol.

I have 3 main issues with this:1 - the obvious/cliché plot2 - the male lead’s entitled attitude and overall…
why did you find him entitled?

yeah, I guess this was my comment, too. She was very cruel in her killings. No justification possible, especially…
you could argue that she didn't really "kill" them though. she brought jin jae gyu & lee shin woong there, then she brought the guys & erased all their memories. they killed each other just because they were confused, as jae gyu later explained. she also left BEFORE they killed each other because of dong baek finding her & telling her what happened to their mom - so her intentions are kind of up for debate. she wanted to PUNISH them but did she plan to go that far from the beginning? we don't really know.

a lot of webtoons go on for years, that's pretty common. as an example - cheese in the trap was a webtoon that lasted from 2010-2017 & the drama came out in 2016 before the webtoon was even over.

"true beauty" is updated monday on naver in korean (tomorrow will be episode# 103) & updated wednesdays on the webtoon app in english (episode# 91).
On Well-Intended Love Season 2 Apr 26, 2020
it's so interesting to me that people found this season boring! LOL. if you're into makjang plots & super problematic storylines, then you will probably enjoy season 1. if you're into cheesy romance with some drama cliches thrown in, then you will probably enjoy season 2.

surprisingly i preferred this second season - even though i can agree with the people who think the "villain" storylines were less developed in this one. i think the shorter length made the plot seem less drawn out & honestly all the characters felt more likable to me.

i've never seen an "alternate universe" drama like this so i found the concept funny, but it was an interesting watch!

i have simultaneously been wanting this so bad & not wanting it at all - really terrified who they'll cast! i've watched so many dramas based on webtoons but i've never been as invested in the source material as i am with this one!!!

this show tried to go in way too many directions. like many comments mention, the editing & transitions are a mess. all the actors in this deserved better.

if you're interested in the main couple i think you're better off watching those fan compilation videos of cute scenes, because it is not worth it!

didn't care that much about our second couple but noh kwang shik seemed pretty good for his first drama? & to get a main role is pretty surprising. i hope to see him more in the future.

Whenever I see Dr. Yang's face, I wanted to punch him lol
he's not even funny in the way dr. song was for season 1... he was useless too but at least it was in a ridiculous way!

Title Melting Me Softly Spoiler
i usually love rom-coms mixed with mystery/thrillers/sci-fi etc.... when it's done WELL. this drama was such a…
ma dong chan, who went to sleep ready to marry his girlfriend & woke up thinking it’s only a day later, suddenly hates her when he found out she didn’t “look” for him - even though she….did & just never told him?! never got married & made a career change just to hear any news on him? they had to make her do “evil” things in the second half because she was so pitiful… omg this plot point was the worst to me.

go mi ran who kept saying how ma dong chan didn’t “show” he was jealous & suddenly got upset over his ex-gf after 13 episodes, when in multiple episodes before he was fighting with hwang byeong shim & ji hoon over mi ran right in front of her?

that jin young cameo where he asked mi ran about freezing himself/his gf & she urged him to do so even though they still didn’t have the antidote & think they’re gonna die? you didn’t think to warn him about any of the SIDE EFFECTS?!

why was that killer SO loyal that he went after those two after his boss was arrested? he told him to kill them or he would be killed, but who was gonna make sure of that after he was in JAIL! nonsense.

i usually love rom-coms mixed with mystery/thrillers/sci-fi etc.... when it's done WELL. this drama was such a mess that i could barely even understand the motivations behind the characters' actions?

like a lot of people said, nam tae was the best part of this & they didn't utilize his character enough.
On Love with Flaws Nov 29, 2019
i don't really understand why anyone would read the plot synopsis of this drama & then complain after watching that there's too many clichés. i know that plot has been up there months before this started airing so what do you expect??

i always watch 2 weeks of a drama to determine if i'll enjoy it, so i don't want to make a judgment on it so far. it can be difficult introduce the background of all the characters, but i think that's something this drama did well.

Title Extraordinary You Spoiler
i understand the criticism for some of the plot points & how things were not "explained," but i very much enjoyed…
i loved juda's admission that she liked do hwa AND nam joo, but that nam joo literally exists for her so she should choose him. i loved do hwa liking her for who she was in & out of the shadow, but moving on once she made a choice. i loved kyung acknowledging that him forcing what he wanted onto dan oh made him into a monster, instead of only wishing for her happiness.

yes there are flaws in this drama. i did not understand the motivation of kyung's little brother. or if the whole plot with su hyang was just to explain the part about dying in the shadow? but it's very, very rare for a drama to be perfect beginning to end!
On Extraordinary You Nov 24, 2019
i understand the criticism for some of the plot points & how things were not "explained," but i very much enjoyed the character development. it was interesting to see many of the characters become "self-aware" - not only in the sense of the comic book world, but literally analyzing & recognizing their own behaviors to make decisions.

On I Hate You, Juliet! May 4, 2019
this show felt like someone shot at a dart board filled with every k-drama plot point & just mashed together whatever they hit. i didn't find it unbearable (tho if you don't like aegyo, you're gonna hate jung hye sung in this) but it honestly made little to no sense.

i loved this show!! in other stories with reverse harems, it feels like the girl is defined by the guy(s) romantically interested in her. i felt very differently here - she's a strong person on her own & they are all genuinely friends. i also wish for a season 2!
