Just finished this. I started out watching the Taiwanese Hana Kimi, but couldn't stick with it, so I decided to try this version and I'm glad I did. It's my first j-drama, and I really enjoyed it.
The romance wasn't that great, honestly. What made this drama actually really good was the comedy, which was a bit over the top, but laugh-out-loud hilarious at times, and the friendships/bromances between all the guys– those were top notch and if I ever rewatch this that would be the reason I'd watch it again.
The ending was pretty cheesy, but I admit I shed a few tears when they were all saying goodbye.
Also despite liking and sympathizing with Sano's character, I found myself getting serious SLS by the second half of the series. Nagatsu is so crazy adorable. So is like every other actor in this drama. So if you wanted to watch a drama solely for the hot asian eye candy, this would be the perfect choice.
