Theres a few things that happened in the novel that i was questioning how they are going to fit it in 2 eps..but..with that i judt watched..it was the best outcome..we at least got to see the best scenes out of it!! I was glad they follwed the novel with how much they could fit in.

in the novel - there were so many ways BSE tried to clue her in; that he knows shes 406. They had a close version of phone seggs, and he bursted into her room just as she was about the "finish" - he was hot and sweaty T-T. But she still was too stupid to know he knows..lol

If U want closeure, just watch the donghua, it's set the dynamic much better. However tangsan aura in this actor haven't matched up to the donghua..however actor is doing a great job, its a hard character to act..without strong features, to bring to the table. Tangsan is the ultimate gentleman, honour, loyalty, integrity, discipline and friend. He doesn't care for power, however because of who he is, the world needs a man like him. He accepts that and just deals with it all. Literally no complaining or weakness can cause him to sway..as long as wu and his friends and family is by him that's all he wants. His friends always stand by him, the unit is strong and unwavering. I love this story so much..I'll watch all the version. But Dongguan so far is the best at telling the story by the novel :)
Just finished another mini drama of Li Jun Lin. I am loving this man more and more.
Ive been into mini dramas more because I am a binge watcher..and i have no self control over myself to stop myself from bingeing 40eps..bc i will and i will not see my family for 24hrs until i finish a drama 😆
This drama has such a great plot, clever FL even though I'm not a fan of FL pushing ML away for his benefit. But because its a mini drama, I was able to tolerate it due to the pace. I love the FL was strong in the beginning and was able to accept her feminine role as her character became more complicated. The kiss scenes and a slight bit of tongue made me giggle hehe. Love it!
Wanting more of Li Jun Lin in main roles in better longer and romantic dramas, esp playing green flag man will be a plus.

Mortals who is lucky to have a spiritual root can cultivate and choosing this path can turn them into immortals.
Immortals can be born or cultivated..they are strong, superior and egoistic, if they are found to do wrong..their punishment is to be reincarnated into the mortal realm and gain experiences as a mortal. Immortals duty is to guard the door between immortals and gods as well as assist with God's work (gods secretary ☺️).they can die.
Gods are transformed from spirit that was chosen by the greater good part of the Devine realm, Most powerful,most pure. Their duty is to make sure dark spirit do not enter the 3 realms. Rule of thumb is you aren't allowed to interfere with the 3 realms issues as such and fall in love. God is everything enlightened by Buddhist standards /principles - one being "detachments". I don't think you can kill god unless he loses his god membership (turns human)

it was a bitter sweet ending. i cant get over the common sense that ML could have drain come of the King of Xiyan blood to sort out a cure for FL, grosee but hey "at the end of the road" ill try anything. However glad they are together in death, maybe reincarnated into a modern drama :P

I, 2nd with story of minglan...be ready for the slow pace as it should be. Its the only drama that has quality acting, quality actors and actresses. Quality dialogue. Common "rich" people but you have to remember Ancient times have have politics related involvement. Whether it is common people struggle it is up to the Officials and Emperor to sort of help the common people..or the common people working their way up to gain power for a better living.
Another Recommendation could be "Joy of Life" and its Sequels.
Also, slightly underated; i recommend is "Blossom in Adversity" Family does get punished from politics reasons, as a catalyst. The family is forced to start from scratch, (rich turned poor) as common people, sticking to patriotic old traditional ruling of a household, turned "slightly" into modern feministic views. There isn't much politics ... only the ones thats related to ML because he works as a Commander of the Security Bureau.
what in the cringe FL is this. good chemistry but man is she one of the most annoying FLs ever. hard to watch…
I thought it was just me. I had it with her when it got to ep 28. When she talks about trust with ML (1. She never apologise her hurting ML when she brought up divorce in one of their fights). I really wanted to give her a smack.
I would have liked to see her grow and mature..the only forgiving assumption is shes probably aged 16 in the story.. Seeing how shes always bored, she gaslights, never respects her husband or gives him that trust.. (scene when they were fighting and she brings up divorce), because shes bored, and wants to go out to play. There was no real other purpose, in her life.
