The producer actually filmed some extra funny clips about this trio. So far 5 such clips are released. Anybody interested could find them by searching 结爱 彩蛋 in youtube. Totally hilarious. especially clip 03 . :-D

I live for all the funny moments of the fox trio-Lord Helan and the two brothers. In c-forums audiences call the trio PAGO Boy Band. PAGO has the similar sound as Pa Gou in Chinese which literally means - be scared of dogs. :-D

And it has more than 50% rating of 10. One and only.

Ah, I thought you were talking about the " unrealistic" life choice of JC in the drama. My view is just in the real life there are quite some people choosing location over ranking, choosing interest over money. So his life choice is not really seriously unrealistic. The real unrealistic thing is that in the real life you will never meet any top student like Jiang Chen who is smart, good-looking and with model height and long legs. :-D

This drama is adapted from a web novel with the same name. In the novel they two, in the end more like in the side stories, get married and have a daughter named "Jiang Xiao Ke". That's where the idea of this trailer comes from but I don't think they really shoot any scenes with the daughter character for this drama.

Zhejiang University ranks No. 5 in China in 2017. Some lists also show as No. 3 right after Tsinghua and Beijing University.... and quite some top students from South China tend to apply top universities in South like Zhejiang University, Shanghai Jiang Tong University or Fudan University since A: they want to be close to their family and they are not so sure if they could get used to the weather and food in Beijing... And B: if they later look for a job in Shanghai area, these universities hold no less weights in the job market than Tsinghua.. especiall for a family from Zhejiang Province, where this story takes place, most of time, Zhejiang University is the same level as Tsinghua University.... so for JC giving up Tsinghua for Zhejiang University is not that unrealistic, it is actually quite understandable for people from South China...

Saw your name in the comments area of the Eternal Love page a lot. :-) Well i'm also a fan of Etenal Love and Nirvana in Fire. Normally i'm more into these type of dramas, which have elaborate custums, intriguing plots, grand scenarios, etc. I never thought i would end up liking this youth drama. :-D. The story is so simple, even cliche but don't know why somehow it really grows into the heart. Hope you will enjoy it but it is also possible that you will be scared away by the Itazura na Kiss vibes in the early episodes. :-))))

Jiang Chen in the novel is colder however Xiao Xi is the novel is also tougher. :-) Fun to read.

I think the beginning episodes with the vibe of InK really mislead a lot of people. For those who finish this drama they are on different tracks.

The female lead Xiao Xi mentioned in multiple occasions she doesn't want to end up in a miserable one-sided love relationship and she is the one to call off the relationship although due to misscommunication. In the later part of the serie, the male lead Jiang Chen finally learns his lesson, strikes out and wins her back.

This drama in the end is about an aloof guy learning to express his love to his family, his friends and most importantly the girl he loves.

Same, if you did not watch it, you can not judge. The male lead has his annoying moments but he never really looks down the others including the female lead that's why unlike the male lead in Ink he has good friends by his side. And the female lead is slow in a way but is never portraited as dumb. Low grades in school and chasing a popular guy is not dumb, just a normal school girl. Not to mention she has her firm dream of becoming an artist later.

Well, no points to say more. If you can't get in, it's fine. It is not your cup of tea, understand.

First, you are not the first one express the disliking for this type of cool guy with bubbly girl set up. Totally fine. But you are the first one to scold the "intelligence" of the lead girl and the "cruelty" of the lead guy and even question the influence to young generations. En.... for someone who even did not finish ep 1, en...., you think too much...

this drama is never just a girl-chase-guy romantic drama. Nearly half of the drama contributes to the beautiful portraits of friendship, family relationship and growing-up problems etc. It has so many warm moments which have nothing to do with the love of the two leads but make us laugh, make us cry. Very nostalgic and relatable.

As for the romance part, from the first glance, it looks like a the-lead-girl-is-crazy-about-the-lead-guy story, but if you ever finish ep1, you will realize it is a double-sided love story, just one is straightforward and outward and one is hidden and reserved. As the story goes, the hidden love is revealed and expressed. The male lead's bad mouth? It's his childish side, adds a lot fun and drama to the story. Don't worry. Audience can tell what is drama what is real life even teenagers. Not only once, i saw posts like i love the male lead but in real life i will choose the second male lead. Believe me, audience who even watch this type of drama are not idiots.

Finally, speaking of respect, how about finishing more eps to at least know a bit more of the story to pay some respects to the production team and audience who love this drama?

There are wellknown jokes among students - whoever in this type of uniform still looks pretty or handsome is a real beauty. hahaha, jiang chen, jing jing here for example. :-)

50 chapters sounds a lot but they are all short chapters so it is not that painful to wait. :-)

yes, in the novel the school life is mainly flash back and there are some major differences with the drama like Jiang Chen's Dad did not pass away and he is the mayor of the small city. That's why the main reason of their three year seperation is Jiang Chen's Mom looked down on Xiao Xi's family. Sounds miserable but the novel spreads out in a humorous way so it doesn't give any heavy feeling and they two still end up happily together. Nevertheless i appreciate the efforts of the script writers (the novel writer is also one of the script writers). The team made the right decision of focusing more on school life.

If you find the storyline of the novel is not your cup of tea, do hold till the translators finish the sidestories. They are really funny, a lot are about their after marriage life. like bride photo shooting, pregnancy etc.

It is pretty much always like this sine 1980s. Teachers and parents like this style. They are convenient, comfortable and most important cheap. But of course most students would like to have sth prettier. Some privates schools offers better uniforms like Japanese style school uniforms but generally most schools still use jumpsuits.
