I'm only on ep. 1 and Seo In Guk & Jung So Min's appearances caught me off-guard (in a good way) omg. Are they recurring characters or just guests? I might consider watching the rest of the eps if they continue to show up lol

As someone who's watched The Usual Suspects, I'm annoyed at myself for not realizing early on that the defendant from ep. 6 built his alibi in the exact way that the murderer from the movie did lol

Just like what a lot of people have said in the comments, this drama isn't for those who haven't experienced work life yet. I tried watching this back in 2012 (when I was in high school) and I got so bored with it.

Now that I know what it feels like to be an office intern, the story just spoke to me so, so much. I'm glad I gave it another go because I learned a lot from each of the characters.

My first thought while watching this is that it's like a Black Mirror episode set in the Philippines. It's not a great movie, but it definitely isn't a bad one either.

The first two episodes definitely felt a bit awkward, but eps 3 & 4 (especially 4!) were much better. The casts were more comfortable with each other and the balance between humor + drama was just right.

KDramas always tend to be at their best during ep 6-8 before the quality goes downhill and the story gets dragged 'til the end. BUT OMG THIS ONE. THIS ONE JUST KEEPS GETTING BETTER AND BETTER. I can't wait to see how it ends

Scenes in EP14 that almost made me weep:

- when Sang Mi's mom was crying during Sang Mi's prayer service
- when Dae Sik found out about his mom's bruises
- when Dong Cheol stopped Dae Sik from burning the church down by reminding him about his mom
- when Sang Mi gave So Rin (the reporter) a "fire prayer"
-when Jung Hoon saw his dad accepting a bribe from Apostle Jo

ohmygOD I just want to give all these broken people a hug :-( On another note, everyone in this drama has phenomenal acting skills i love it!!!!!

I love how the drama makes use of subtlety to show the audience the thought processes of its characters. For example, the scene where Sang Hwan's father accidentally hit a deer. He says that, even though the deer survived, it was barely alive so he "mercy kills" it. This could mean that he (either consciously or unconsciously) feels the same way about his wife, who is catatonic and bedridden.

Come to think of it, every character here is so complex that I feel like someone should make an analysis of the entire drama, especially about how a (religious) community can affect the mindset of a person.

Boring drama honestly
It's more slow-paced than most dramas, so it's understandable that you think it's boring. But I think it's a good thing since it gives the leads time for character development, which makes the story more enjoyable. :)

The moment they played Sattelite Love (during the ending of ep1) was the moment I realized that this drama will take over my life. AND I LOVE IT

How can ma bang jin see yoo jin oh ? and wait didn't yoo jin oh talk to ga ji seok once or he was talking…
A popular theory about Bang Jin is that she can see ghosts. With Ji Seok, he was actually talking to himself lmao

I am so confused about whenever people can or cannot see Jin Oh. There was this scene where he was 'talking'…
I was also confused with the part where Ji Seok was "talking" to Jin Oh so I replayed it lmao and it made more sense the 2nd time I watched it. Basically, yup Ji Seok was indeed talking to himself. The shady thing that he did was hiring (or planning to hire) a ghostwriter also named Yoo (at this point it was still not revealed that he was about to hire a ghostwriter, so that's why it was a little confusing).

For the part where the father looked under the table, I believe that he saw only the manuscript of Fate. From what I understand, he probably said that he shouldn't have come because he thought that Se Joo was still not over about Fate being published under Tae Min's name, even though Se Joo is the real author. Remember the part where Se Joo told him that he resents him? It may be because he's the one who suggested/allowed Tae Min to steal Fate.

I'm not 100% sure about my understanding of these scenes so take it with a grain of salt. But I hope the explanation has made Jin Oh's character more sensible bcos dAMN he's one very interesting character (and you're right, he's charming!).

Also!! I forgot to mention that this is all under the assumption that Jin Oh is a ghost.
