Idk should i watch this? One thing I really hate about dramas is when the leads break up. Should I watch it then?
I do recommend it! Honestly, I had no intention of watching the show at beginning despite being familiar with the leading man' work. I never would have watched if it wasn't out of curiosity on how Lee Jin Ki would perform in a drama :D so I gave it a shot. They did not disappoint me at all.

I love Minho, but the only thing I've seen him in is TTBY and it was abysmal. Really bad. It didn't really make…
You should watch him in more recent productions. In the movie Canola for example.
As for mini series I liked very much Somehow 18. Also, Hwarang was fun to watch.

*WARNING!! DON'T READ MY COMMENT IF U LIKE MINHO* well to be honest ~~ *dont angry with me, it just my opinion*…
Maybe you should try watching Hwarang, Somehow 18 or Canola and see if he has improved in your eyes :)

My goodness I watched this and I couldn't help crying like a baby. I just couldn't stop the tears. Loved watching it. The chemistry was on point, the bromance was there too. I sincerely recommend it.

i really want to know if I should watch this production. I'm certainly don't want to watch it for the main leads...I'm interested in the supporting cast instead.

It was ok,but with plot holes. For one, Hye Rim's daughter vanishes for no reason. We don't see that she gets the chance to meet Soo Hyun (video conference). I never understood why the girl was abroad. What I have to acknowledge is that this is a drama where kiss scenes are believable, natural and not obviously staged as the usual Korean productions. Specially the ones between Yoo Rim and Ji Ho.

I personally don't think that Lee Min Ho is overrated as an actor. I just think that he needs better roles/directors…
The fact is that he's an actor who got type casted.
My opinion remains unchanged, as you're free to think otherwise. Boys over Flowers and Heirs were so cringe worthy. The only role that seemed interesting for me was in Faith... Considering that this drama was supposed to be darker at the beginning and played by Kang Ji-Hwan or Lee Joon-gi. I'm still heartbroken over it.
Just take a look on Park Bo-gum and Yoo Seung Ho. They're younger and yet they've played dark characters already. Now that's impressive. Nothing is more convincing than an actor playing good guy or bad guy. And I mention these two as it wouldn't be fair to compare with older and more experienced actors.

The first time I ever had SLS was in Moon Embracing the Sun. I was not really interested in the male lead for some reason. It happened to me as well with Warrior Baek Dong Soo and High Society. Sometimes it's just that you find other characters to be more interesting, fun or endearing than the main leads.
As for the actors, you truly begin respecting their work when you see them in a variety of roles, where they are either playing protagonist or antagonist to perfection.
On Hello Monster Jan 4, 2018
Ok, so the actors who turned out to be the scene stealers here because of their characters were Choi Won Young and Park Bo Gum. My goodness I respect them as actors even more. The bromance was well developed, but they fell short with the romance. They should have balanced that better if they wished to portray romance in the first place. Seo In Guk's perfomance does not disappoint either.

I really enjoyed watching BOTC and seeing Lee Hongki in an entirely different role was great too. If you like romance like I do, then you should watch it.

I dislike they made the female lead into a dumb character and make her look like a fish everytime she speaks. It gets on your nerves like you have no idea. I hated the mother and sister, and the way the plot went overboard with the hate for the lead lady and make her look unneccesarily pathetic. I've never disliked the character of the leading lady, except for the one in Doctor Stranger. Boy I'm suffering with every episode now... Does it get any better??Please do tell me.I'm in episode 6. I dislike dropping what I begin watching...

Edit:It had a dragging beginning, but as it progressed it got better! The ending was amazing. I would give it a 9 if it weren't for the rocky start where the leading lady was just frustrating me.
On Witch's Romance Dec 20, 2017
I think this is the best noona romance I've seen. This one shows a chemistry between the leads off the charts. Despite the age gap, you just don't notice it as the actors work together very well. I've seen other productions when the couple aren't able to escape the awkwardness of the noticeable age gap.

Sorry I creeped onto your page. Three of your drops I completed. I have re-watched Fated to Love You many times,…
I dropped them because I got bored. In Doctor Stranger I hated the main couple, it didn't make any sense. What I only loved was the second female lead.
AnanyaS Nov 20, 2017
I don't like to leave something inconclusive in general. That's why I take my time to pick the production. I have dropped a minority mainly because they lost their charm or when the direction of the plot does not convince me at all. I've suffered through some awful shows at the beginning, but after a while my last resort is just to drop a drama I cannot stand anymore...
What productions have you dropped??? I consider myself a newbie in dramaland. I've completed 88, and I'm currently watching 2. I've dropped 5 so far... Not sure if I'll finish them just for the sake of completing them...

I enjoyed watching the show. I wished they had kept the pace though. I was not into the main couple at all, The leading lady had a somewhat annoying character to portrait. I would have preferred she had a stronger personality to decrease the crying scenes. I had second lead syndrome till the end and I shipped Ban Ryu' s love story.

So... Is Jang Dong Gun going to be Harvey and is Park Hyung Shik going to be Mike?

I dropped this on the first episode. I usually don't believe remakes of other countries bc they're just…
This is an outstanding remake, and I'm a fan of Jang Geun Suk's work. FB has similarities with YAB, but there are scenes that outdid the original.
Replying to redxxxcrimson Nov 7, 2017
is it better than the j and k dramas??
As much as I love the original, this one is better than the original in some ways. If you enjoyed YAB, then you'll have fun watching FB. I did !
