FWQ was not really addressed at the end. Also, if I were to select the cast, I would replace Maggie with an actress…
That's not how it works. Some people lose their accents more quickly & easily than others; some never do.
In my neck of the woods, there are plenty of Asian & non-Asian immigrants. Many still don't have American accents despite arriving during their elementary school days.
And in my travels abroad, some people speak perfect English despite never leaving their native country.
So I was sympathetic until I read this comment and your other comments bashing Korea and its people. You're also…
Let me get this straight. The people defending South Korea aren't even (likely) from South Korea, which I never said they were. I called them koreaboos which, by definition, means people who defend South Korea, whether they're from South Korea or not.
But because I defend China, you automatically assume that I'm a "jingoist" from China. And you accuse me of applying double standards? If I'm a hypocrite, it takes one to know one, I guess..
Prior to the #metoo movement, women who brought attention to their being sexual assaulted were dismissed as "batshit…
You're lying if you say that there isn't anti-Chinese sentiment on South Korean social media.
Of course, they're not talking about this on social media, they're not the offended party here.
But when they perceive real or imagined slights from China such as the alleged appropriation of Korean culture (hanfu is a copy of hanbok LOL), you better believe they rant & rave on social media. Heck, go to any random YouTube channel re: hanfu, & you should find South Korean trolls saying there's no such thing as hanfu, that hanfu is nothing but Chinese communist propaganda, that hanfu is a copy of hanbok, and so on and so on.
"Hanfu" literally means the clothing of the Han Chinese people. There's plenty of archeological evidence to prove hanfu existed & that different dynasties had their own different versions of hanfu. Not to mention, in ancient times, most of Asia (including Korea & Japan) were under Chinese influence.
Heck, the written Korean language was entirely Chinese characters until some Korean king decided to dumb things down by getting rid of the majority of Chinese characters to improve the literacy rates of the Korean masses.
But China copied Korean clothing? And South Koreans didn't whine about it? They weren't overly sensitive & too easily sensitive over this fake news?
Here's the thing, you said goodbye in your last post, so why are you still arguing with me anyway? And accusing me of racism, no less.
Hey, what's good for the goose is good for the gander. If the koreaboos here are going to toss insults around, I'm going to return the favor tenfold. Don't start what you can't finish because I'll finish it for you.
Prior to the #metoo movement, women who brought attention to their being sexual assaulted were dismissed as "batshit…
Just because we defend China against you koreaboos, that makes us not only Chinese citizens, but also communists? @aska is a UK citizen & I am a US citizen.
Just because you got completely owned, you resort to calling us dumb commies. If we're so dumb & we still owned you, what does that make you exactly, koreaboo?
So I was sympathetic until I read this comment and your other comments bashing Korea and its people. You're also…
I said I have equal disdain for the both the far left & far right in the US. Nowhere did I say you were part of the radical, extremist left, let alone call you "woke."
I don't even know your political inclinations or affiliations, nor do I even care.
You called me "obtuse," "jingoistic," "hypocritical," etc. , but I'm the one being insulting? Seriously?!
Prior to the #metoo movement, women who brought attention to their being sexual assaulted were dismissed as "batshit…
Leaving aside that this is hardly a consistent & persistent pattern, but even if it is. my point is that South Korea is always quick to accuse China (& other countries) of being overly sensitive & too easily offended by K-ent content, but China (& other countries) don't say the same about South Korea.
Prior to the #metoo movement, women who brought attention to their being sexual assaulted were dismissed as "batshit…
I don't particularly care who your husband is or isn't, whether he's Chinese or not. Nor did I even ask.
And for the record, my point isn't that China doesn't have their own problems, but unlike the US & their puppets like South Korea, they don't go around pointing out problems in other people's countries & butting in where they don't belong, just like you're doing right now.
For crying out loud in one of my above comments, I said the following (verbatim): "Communism, as an ideology, promotes equality, but that doesn't mean communist countries (including China) live up to that ideology."
So I was sympathetic until I read this comment and your other comments bashing Korea and its people. You're also…
I'm not even a Chinese citizen, just a C-drama fan who's sick & tired of this anti-China nonsense by these koreaboos.
If you check my posting history, I've never even commented in a Kdrama-related MDL discussion section before this one. And I only came across this article because I was searching for articles by this author (who had written a C-drama article that I read).
So I'm no jingoist. As a matter of fact, I'm an equal opportunity hater of the woke left & MAGA right in my country.
But feel free to keep making unwarranted assumptions about me & insult me because I don't post to seek validation. And if I did, it wouldn't be from a random busybody like you.
Just curious what's your country of origin? I'm wondering because you seem to be in a position to look down on…
Oh, I see. I'm more xianxia than wuxia, so haven't seen MLC yet. I'm guessing those who have would've recognized that pouch (?) he's wearing on his right shoulder.
Nice chatting with you. I'm sure we'll run into each other soon enough, given our similar interests.

Heck, every Chinese drama, with or without BJT, time-loop or not, modern or historical, is basically the same.
Chinese dramas cannot possibly be as original as South Korean dramas.
Thank you to this K-drama fan for honoring us C-drama fans with your presence.
Is this what you tell yourself when your imaginary or inflated "friends" talk about you behind your back?
Why don't you address me directly, coward? You need two of you koreaboos to take on one of us "communist-wannabes?"
But I guess you koreaboos are used to talking about people behind their backs.
But because I defend China, you automatically assume that I'm a "jingoist" from China. And you accuse me of applying double standards? If I'm a hypocrite, it takes one to know one, I guess..
How original & clever of you! I've never seen that move before.
X3! You really burned her.
How long did it take for you to come up with this major putdown?

Given that you're a grown a$$ adult watching cartoons in your mommy's basement, you probably shouldn't go around calling other persons "unwell."
Come at me again & prove me right yet another time, but whatever, as you like to say.
Have you read some of the back & forth going on here? You'd have to say something very profane or racist to get kicked out of MDL.
If other people commenting about something bothers you, why are you even bothering to comment on their commenting, let alone read their comments.
I'm not Scottish by the way, before you all start about what country I'm not from.
