yesss - i will defend that the novel was 100% a HE and not either / or so I am expecting the same out of the showi…
Agreed! I don't know why it's thought that there are two endings when the HE is a continuation of the story and not an alternate storyline! I'm so here for this!
Novel fans, give me some spoilers, how do the other two couples end up? After the new trailer, bts and all, I…
If I remember correctly 3rd couple is somewhat ok. She comes back but not in human form. I can't remember much but I do remember that. 2nd couple don't expect much. The female is definitely a villain but i think the drama will change some things with her based on what I see in the trailer.
LOTS OF ANGST. And I mean LOOOTS. Imagine the angstiest xianxia drama you know then multiply that by a thousand.…
I hope they don't stop at the BE! The HE is a continuation rather than alternate storyline so to me it would make sense that drama will see it through! I hope to see little A'Mi!
That is the difference between novel versions and adaptations. In novels they make a lot of characters stone cold…
Exactly! I mean in the first half especially it's obvious to the audience based on their inner dialogue how both leads were struggling with how they felt. Although LSS insisted she hated him and was prejudiced toward him in the beginning, I felt she still loved him but refused to let herself admit it. She was just as cold as he was and they both treated each other terribly. Based on the trailer and the both actors fit their parts well and do a great job with their facial reactions. I am so here for it!
Yep a lot of misunderstandings and NO second chances. Imagine the most tragic Xianxia romance you've previously…
When I read the novel there are two endings, however the BE comes first. But the HE is not an alternate storyline, it's a continuation after the BE. So I would say that the novel in an of itself is a HE.
The novel is a happy ending so I hope the drama follows that!
In the novel she was "with" Tantai Jin but she didn't truly have real feelings for him and he didn't really care for her. At the time he hated that Li Su Su (Ye Xi Wu) cared about Xiao Lin ( who was her senior brother 500 years in the future). So Tantai Jin basically took everything Xiao Lin had including Ye Bing Chan. It's a twisted mess but from my understanding, no, CDL character didn't actually like Tantai Jin truly. I think she just wanted to survive.
Don’t buy it. Wait for the reg episodes to come out as planned. I wondered how ,much you,ku made on me and others….who…
For real! It’s pretty sleazy and greedy of them. If I had known that I would have to wait till next week for the real conclusion then I wouldn’t have wasted 6 dollars today.
Although the ending wasn’t what I hoped, it was still better than the novel ending. At least they both understood and knew that they loved each other and she is accompanying him even in death. I do wish however, that they both could have lived on together though. This is the only disappointing thing for me. The novel’s ending made everything she went through pointless, whereas at least in the drama they both died for a reason. I prefer the drama ending over her ending up with Yan Mo due to fan service.
