Starting from its first episode, this drama had me choked up with tears. No, I am not married nor a mother but yes I can empathise with friends who are going through the same situation, whether it be their relationship or financial issues and especially their struggles after leaving their careers behind. If you fall near the same bracket, you will likely love the first two episodes. But once you go way past that, you'd be in fantasy land. No, it's nowhere near sci-fi but rather elevates into a series of ideal wishful thinking. Don't get me wrong, I still like Kang's character. She may be half a damsel but the moment she omitted a part of herself just so she can start over is something any grown up will likely do in order to survive.
It's for you to decide how this story ends, just like in any RPG game. For a gamers perspective, it was interesting and relatable but not enough to keep me excited. *sigh Wish I can be reborn again someday and hope AR will be a reality by then. :)
Just finished watching episode 12 and here I am, wondering if I've done anything good with my life. This drama has a lot to say and I can't wait to watch the rest. Thanks to 148 IQ for recommending this. It feels nice to know there are men out there who appreciate stories in this genre.
Being an MMORPG player, I can't help but feel fascinated over the first two episodes. I won't make any judgment at this time but I am feeling a little uneasy. Girl, don't disappoint me.
This movie tells one of the many faces of injustice during the 80s. There was no disguise, every scene felt raw. It was painful but beautiful. Leaving a sense of pride and respect. It's worth a standing ovation and a movie that everyone should watch.
I take it back. Despite the speed up of events, the development remained interesting and exhilarating. And I can feel how much Soo Hyun is smitten but doing her best to keep herself together. :) Oh! How can I forget that drunk Bogum? So darn good and hilarious.
For those looking for smoochies and a happy ending. This isn't your cup of tea. And even though I love this drama, it has its highs and lows. Can't really elaborate any longer since I am squeezing a very small amount of my free time. Huhu.
UNPOPULAR OPINON : The only thing keeping me from giving this drama a 10 is the romance between the leads..it's…
In my perspective, the two main leads' chemistry is strong, but their passion is reverted to duty. I see two mature individuals who admire each other, who respects the other's passion and love for their country and smart enough to know that romance won't do them any good. I feel great for their happy days, but feel the hurt more for putting each other aside, however, any patriot will do the same at that very dark time. I think the writer did right by sticking to that idea.
And so we are here. Though likely history won't be fully told, still it showed how one small country became vulnerable and ended up under the influence of the once power hungry Japan. *sigh

Still, thanks Mr. Sunshine.
