No they never really any other love interest.

No I've never seen a person die but i have had people close to me die so when i see a drama it's an escape for me. I've had enough tragedy in my own life so when I look for dramas they're usually ones of hope and meaning, especially the ending. I'm sure this is an excellent drama, I just don't like these kind of endings. But i do have to say i love Zhao Lusi and her acting gets better with each drama.

Yea not finishing this... I just don't get why they think sad endings are meaningful. I really feel a happy ending could still be deep and beautiful but I sometimes think they want people to remember the drama with a twisted heartwrenching ending. It's not necessary!!!

Ive watched both LBFAD and LLTG and i really like both actresses but LLTG will always be the best between these two. Zhao Lusi's acting is just a notch above Esthers. I'm just being honest.

I agree but im hoping something similar comes out soon. I'm so bored with some of these mediocre dramas. I think the Story of Ming Lan comes close.

My favorite chinese drama of all time... rewatching for the 7th time. Why can't they write more like this drama. Im bored with the dramas recently. Can someone recommend something close to this?
