Tbh Sang Man, Han Mi and Gyu Ra should be changed to Leads and Hee Ah to support (6 episodes in). I mean the others are part of the team and we barely saw Hee Ah so far...

Title Bloody Heart Spoiler
I can't make out whether Councillor Park played by Jang Hyuk is a villain or not. Any palace or court drama is…
I think he is. He wants to be the power behind the throne and amass more power. But at this stage the king is also a villain because he just wants to take the power away, he doesnt care about reigning or his subjects.

I'm waiting for this to finish before I start watching. How is it so far and is there much romance?
I think the romance will play some role but I think other stuff will take precedence. It's pretty dark in some ways, I think the romance will be there but it will be a pretty hard road for the main leads

Predictable but sooo adictive. I mean I knew what would happen but I couldn't stop watching. It's the same old, same old plot and not sure if ppl who dont like historical dramas will like this, but I like it that they made it clichΓ© but still appealing...

Don't worry it's not that type of a melodrama.Lost few episodes are a bit sad but good thing is that things move…
Oh nice! I rly wanted to try and get away from dramas focused on romance but I've watched a melodrama recently and I kept rolling my eyes. Its not that its bad, its just not my personal cup of tea πŸ™

How melodramatic is this? Because I cant stand overly brooding people and everyone crying every 2 minutes and everything is dark and its always raining. If there arent any light moments to counter the melodrama its just not mything. Asking bc I really want to watch this but the Melodrama tag is bothering me. Thanks! πŸ˜•

I didnt find them scary... I actually watched them all, i dont mind gore all that much... A look at my drama list would not be amiss. But there is nothing wrong with being scared of horror movies or series, so I dont really get your comment.

Kingdom is one of my favorite dramas, actually. :) It's pretty good. I guess I am more scared of subtle horror than downright scary in your face horror :/

The Korean justice system is set up completely different from the way it is in the US. Police strictly police.…
Yes, I know. We have the exact same system as South Korea in my country. Except here the police and the prosecutors conduct the investigation jointly that's what confused me. As for the system, yea pretty much the same

So melodrama means soap opera. Got it. Damn, there's someone crying every 5 minutes, at least insert some funny side characters to break the depressive mood. The guy is pretty to look at, but the drama is so cringe...

Can dumb female lead be a tag please? She seems so self-sufficient in the first 2 episodes, but am now on episode 5 and I predict she is going to be one of those constantly saved by the ML and without character progression enough to try to defend herself alone. It's a 2020 show, can we have smarter FL that aren't just there to be saved and be a liability? Am I right about this woman? 😒

How creepy is this one? I'm kind of a chicken when it comes to horror. Worse than Sweet Home and All of us are dead? 😭

Yes, it's quite a common model actually (I'm guessing you mean the no jury, panel of judges only style of trial).…
Ah well, that is definitely the show that is meant to portray the flaws in the law system I'm guessing. It's probably not like that in reality (I hope)

I think that yes, the same judges can handle both but I'm not sure.

There are a lot of issues with the writing/story of this show. The biggest problem is that sexual harassment against…
They may not have addressed it properly and sometimes not even correctly (the idea of making the male judges 'experience' sexual harrassement was misguided) but I feel like there was at least a passing nod in the episode. The witness who speaks at the end mentions that one of the women (the one with more power) harrassed males in the workplace and that it was wrong as well. Also they emphasise that it's about power imbalance first of all, rather than gender. But definitely still problematic on that front, no doubt. It's very inconsistent I feel like they tried but failed to incorporate harrassement as something that happens to everybody because the hints were there but mixed with problematic scenes.
