I think she’s quite smart. I know she is known for being super cute and she is but she also seems very smart and savvy. I’ve liked her in most of her dramas and even think she’s funny in all the variety shows. She’s unique and quite honest/blunt about her image and I think people appreciate it.

Can someone please provide an update on the drama ending in China? How was it received? Are the Chinese fans as in love with this drama as we international fans are? Details details~ I know Chinese fans can be tough to please so I’m just wondering? And how Didi and Esther are doing - both of them.

I agree! I cried more for that scene than Ep 31. His acting there just can’t be praised more. 👍🏼👏🏻

I just saw that this author also did Zhao Yao (Legends) which is one of my faves. She also wrote the next drama collab between Zhao Liyin and Kenny Lin as well as Siming. I’m looking forward to both dramas. I hope they can add a little cameo with DFQC and XLH and their happy marriage as a fan service~

I am going to rewatch this drama from the beginning when it come out on Netflix. Let’s all watch it on Netflix the first two weeks it’s out. I heard that the way they do their ratings is to see how well viewed a show is during the first couple of weeks of its release!

If you had to choose, I’d say this one. I just couldn’t get thru the annoying side characters and the super slow narrative in LLTG. I mean, the main leads don’t even really meet until Ep 6 in LLTG.

Me too. I feel like that and Jieli’s story in the previous eps could have been shorter or just not included so we get more time with our couple.

I think DFQC had two plans. First is as everyone said above. But being a strategist, he has a contingency plan through Sangque. In case he failed to trap TS in the heart sea, he ordered SQ to gather the Moon Tribe and work to contain TS and destroy him. That’s why when SQ came he came with everyone and he said “by order of the Moon Supreme” we’re ordered to kill Tai Sui! Also explains DFQC putting on his battle armor and his handshake with SQ before he left.

I didn’t love the Rong Hao and Chidi story. And it ended rather abruptly.

Esther’s song lyrics actually has a lot of clues, the last line of her song says that the love goes on as “to be continued.”
