Tbh that Asperger's joke was useless (WYW was joking in the second part and not about having Asperger's) and the writer should just stick to WYW referring herself as autistic or having ASD since WYW matches ASD more than Asperger's. (Although Asperger's is part of ASD).

The defendant calling prison a labor camp is basically true since doing labor is mandatory in South Korean prisons (only U.S. military prisoners are not required to do labor in SK prisons).
Interesting use of North Korean law in the courtroom by WYW and CSY to fight for the defendant. The discrimination against North Koreans is depressing (like how the doctor was biased against North Koreans and even defended a wife beater just because he’s South Korean). Four years for robbery is way too much while for murder it’s only 5 years in SK.
