I really hope it just seems that way from the teaser and this isn't another example of romanticising harrasment by a woman in dramas when the image of a "strong female character" is confused with that.

Thank you for the recommendation! I watched «Extraodinary you” and «Shooting Stars» with him and I agree with you about the first one, but the second one gave me the same, bland feelings. He was just «okay» at best, just like the drama itself, but definitely not great acting.I also heard not the best reviews about «Forbidden Marriage», for example, that he did not have the aura of a king, and his comedic charm and expressions was not impressive either.But I sincerely believe and hope that the casting directors of this drama see something that we haven't seen yet and that the guy will reveal himself from a different, talented side, because this is a noona romance and it requires even a higher level of acting to create believable, charming chemistry.
WAH! crazy cast)) Kim Sung Kyun is one of my favorites, truly diverse, versatile actor, so charismatic and different; Lee Kwang Soo is one of the best comedy actors in SK, but his skill is not limited to one genre, and Lee Hee Joon was freaking amazing in “Mouse” and then again different in “Vincenzo”. Glory to the casting director! Exited!
For what? Go Ah Sung was only replaced due to an injury, but she is an extremely talented and sweet girl who is much stronger as an actress than Go Ah Ra. Same thing with Chang Ryul - he is an amazing,charismatic actor, who finally got the leading role he deserves, and who is much better at what he does than your hyped-up faves;)
I knew it’s coming, but I still hoped that Go Ah-sung would be able to stay in the lead role. I really hope that Go Ah Ra has improved her acting skills in the past 3 years, because it would be a terrible shame to see such a promising and interesting drama go to waste. Especially since this is a very big role for Chang Ryul)

I sincerely hope that in three years she has significantly improved her acting skills in the romance genre, but yes, I was upset because her predecessor Go Ah Sun is an extremely talented girl and I, being a big fan of Chang Ryul, who finally got such a promising leading role, and being very interested in the story, as the first historical drama 18+ with the amazing cast, I don’t want to just give it a chance, I want the drama not to be spoiled.
gosh, pleaseee, not Go Ah Ra…She may have been good and organic in «The Childe», but when it comes to romantic dramas, she just can't create chemistry with her partner. We could have Jeon Yeo Bin, Won Jin Ah, Go Bo Gyeol, Kim Yong Ji, Sojin, Kim Yoon Hye….
I'm not a fan of noona romance, but still decided to give this one a try as I love the lead actors and can see them together, but Kim Young Dae😭 man really can't act and I don't see any reason other than looks for him to get the lead roles, but in noona romances you really need good acting to believe and fall in love with their chemistry. I do believe that he can greatly improve his acting in the future, by playing support roles and gaining experience, but not the main one in such a hopeful project of such a scriptwriter)

Thank you!I haven't actually seen the first season, I started it, watched a few episodes, but because of the filming and directing I couldn't continue, but since I like the story, the director has changed and I have no attachment to Song Joong Ki and Kim Ji Won, I plan to watch the second one. I love Jisoo and Go Bo Gyeol, so I was hoping to see them at least there, even though I'm not familiar with their characters from the first season. It's a shame Go Bo Gyeol was replaced(
