I don't understand his purpose. If you delete his scenes, it has no affect on the plot. The body guard following…
Better they show us Lu Chang & Prince Rui making plans to dethrone Prince Yu. Why do I need to see him sobbing crying and his family too at this point ughhhh
How have they been doing in following the novel so far?
Character and plot changes: 1. In the hotel/inn rescue scene, the original novel had it as the young master of the Tao family saving the female lead, showing his affection and helping her multiple timesâhe was actually the first male character to like her. The drama gave this role to the second male lead instead. 2. The academy storyline: originally, it was the male lead who brought the female lead in and convinced the headmaster to let her stay. In the drama, it was changed to the second male lead doing that. 3. When the female lead opened her shop, it was the male lead who helped her throughout (she invested the money herself; he helped manage it, though he wasnât super involved because both he and the second male lead were preparing for exams). But still, no second male lead back then! 4. The scene where the female lead gets knocked out (originally, she had a high fever) was the male leadâs momentâhe stayed by her side the whole night without rest. In the drama, it was changed to the second male lead. Her mom and best friend were right there, but somehow he got to be the one massaging her? 5. The falling plaque scene: in the original, the male lead gets injured and the female lead applies medicine for him. In the show, itâs switched to the second male leadâhe wasnât even supposed to be hurt! 6. The second male leadâs âbegging for medicine and getting beaten by his fatherâ scene: that whole thing is a distortion. In the original, his father simply warned him to focus on his duties and gave him the medicine without a fuss. And the medicine was for a minor injury, not the dramatic ânear-deathâ stuff in the drama. 7. In the novel, the female lead becomes a companion reader, enters the academy, and opens her shop all through her own network (the bodyguard agency heir, her brother, and Yin Shujun). The second male lead didnât help with any of it. But in the drama, to add emotional debt, they made it seem like he did everything! Come on, not only did you steal the male leadâs spotlight, but you also stole from the female lead tooâso frustrating! 8. The reason why the male lead calls the female lead âyoung ladyâ (性ć°ć§) wasnât shown at all. And the childhood sweetheart plot? They were super sweet as kids in the novel!
Can't relate to your comment as WZQ's gazes and expressions are so expressive đ
