Okay. BUT. Silver lining for any fellow ELF. Kyuhyun enlisting brings us that much closer to having the whole group back together! He's the last to enlist.
I'll definitely miss seeing Taecyeon and Ji Chang Wook on the drama scene while they're gone.
Reaper! I just want to squish him. I've only ever seen Lee Dong Wook in Roommate before this, but he was one of my favorite cast members! I need to watch more of his dramas.
This is going to be the silliest load of fluff ever. But how many of us are going to watch it anyway? XD
And we really only know the main cast! Consider the possible cameos. We've already seen Kim Ji Hoon (Flower Boy Next Door, Jang Bori is Here) in episode one.
Is the sister of the 8th prince a daughter to the king as well or is she some kind of cousin on the mother's side…
It was not terribly uncommon in royal families throughout history to keep it in the family. In Europe it was very VERY common to marry close cousins. In a few of cases as long as you weren't fully blood related you were acceptable. So half siblings were likely fair game. Maybe that's part of why in some places it wasn't uncommon for kings to have multiple wives and concubines.
I am a bit confused here ... After watching the whole drama i cant pin point what was the actual story .. Other…
I think you can't pinpoint the story because the show really is more about the characters than the story. The story was just a vehicle to get to know these girls.
I understand that this is all your opinion and i respect that but the people who are new to the dramas would get…
This is like saying newspapers should only report good news.
You really can't ask somebody who hates a thing to write something nice about the thing just because you like it. Reviews don't work like that.
Everything - every show, every movie, every product - will have a mix of reviews. Good, bad, neutral. And that's actually important. To make an informed decision you need that.
Now. Here is a bad review. You are more than welcome to go write a good one.
My favorite dramas are absolutely the Reply series. I know a lot of people will disagree, but 1988 was my absolute favorite. I was a teary eyed mess through the entirety of the final episode.
Wait... what? I just finished watching episode 11 and it feels just about finished. It feels like we should be about ready for the final showdown. Like, they easily could finish this at 14 episodes. An extension? How the heck are they going to drag this out any longer without getting too repetitive? Really bad decision.
I really, really like Sung Joon, but I'm getting really tired of producers trying to convince me he's in his 30's. He's a good actor, but he's not that good. As somebody in their thirties it's obvious to me how much younger he is than some of these characters he plays.
I haven't watched You Who Came from the Stars except for maybe the first fifteen minutes. I keep thinking I should give it a chance but the larger part of my brain has a flashing neon sign that says "Overrated".
I personally love Master's Sun and the Reply series but can understand why a person wouldn't.
With the Reply series you really REALLY gotta like the "Slice of Life" style of story. It's appeal is how ordinary these people's lives are and the focus on characters' relationships. It's relateable I guess.
I'm actually so tired of the amount of body and fat shaming that goes on in Korean dramas: aka, the obsession…
Her ex mentioned that she's lost things along the way, which makes me think that there's a lot more to the end of their relationship. I think the premise is superficial on purpose and they're doing it knowing how superficial the premise is.
My favorite candy... pretty much anything black currant flavored. Especially if it's gummy! I particularly like fruitips and wine gums. I also like any milk soda flavored Japanese candy.
My favorites are steamed buns, kimchi, ramyun, kalbi, those little yogurt drinks, and mochi. I really like ice cream mochi best, but I think I could eat mochi filled with anything as long as it was sweet
I'll definitely miss seeing Taecyeon and Ji Chang Wook on the drama scene while they're gone.
I'm trying really hard not to scream out loud. It's been so long :(
