I don't know if the book have explained this or if the show will explained later, but looking at other omegaverse works, either the enigma's sperm or the enigma's mark makes the alpha's body develop a uterus. If it is the sperm, the uterus is temporary until the baby is delivered.

The sperm & mark also manipulate the alpha's hormones by making them produce more "female" hormones like estrogen for the body to have an easier pregnancy and be able to breastfeed. However, after all of that, since an alpha male's body is not made for pregnancy, it is usually very dangerous due to a different skeletal system.

The omegaverse is not supposed to be scientifically realistic or close to it (most of the time) as there are still some confusion & flaws that can be listed, but it doesn't matter too much since the show is more based on romance than sci-fi.

From what I know, they only interact together in the extra chapters. I think they only had 1 scene which was the one where they first met & play together while Wen Lang & Gao Tu talked to each other. If not, they had at least 1 scene and the others are most likely mentions of them having a good friendship.

Most likely, it will be at the end, so maybe around episode 14 since they explained it towards the end. They tease a little bit in two previous episodes, but those scenes alone don't make sense until they revealed everything.

There are some rumors that he might play Gao Tu's alpha childhood friend or Wen Lang's omega father. Both of these characters appeared at towards the end of the novel, so we will find out later.

It would be cool for them to have a spin off. I heard that if this drama get successful enough, they are considering to write a spinoff show about Wen Lang's parents. Even though it is not about Wen Lang & Gao Tu, they might show up often in present day scenes if this were to happen.

He is one of my favorite characters, but I can see why people don't like him. It really depends on interpterion since I give a lot of empathy to pitiful characters while others don't. With characters I don't like, I just ignore them & their fans since I don't care about these characters, so I don't think I have a character who I hate (besides Umbridge from Harry Potter lol) since I am really good at forgetting even if they are the leads.
