I have waited for this drama ever since it was announced that this would be the korean remake of my fave series Go Ahead. I'm also one of the people who kept waiting for this drama here in mydramalist even though the release dates keep getting postponed. Also, I'm here in the first episode explaining to people that this is not a love triangle that it's so much more than that. Now that it is finished, I'm kinda sad. I have loved them 3, the way I loved the cdrama. Thank you for this version of JianJian, Ling Xiao, and He Zique. I feel like I also came back as my 19 year old self watching Go ahead for the first time. It gave me the same feels, the comfort, the warmth, and the love of new found family.♥

I told myself the last on going kdrama I will watch is Family by Choice. But then the story of this kdrama is so good! Seriously Netflix? I have finals to finish😃

The reason why Sanha can't go back is because his mom and sister won't allow him. In the cdrama, his papers for work was hidden by his mom so that he can't leave them. Also from the flashback in ep 10, he was only able to be back home because he lied to just go there for vacation.

His bio dad left him to suffer in the US because HaeJun won't take his name. So in short, the money that HaeJun have now is from all the work he had done.

Also, baker Juwon character is literally being shoved around us every episode. So I didn't get shocked or felt weird why she became a baker. Another comment here also said that she doesn't have anything to do without her brothers, so now she can only busy herself.

I feel like Hae Jun is secretly rich 😆 He looked like he can't take care of himself, probably because he's saving all his money for a surprise. He promised that he will comeback to give back to his Appa, so I believe we have rich Hae Jun

As someone who watched the orig, i can't get angry with Hae Jun and Sanha. I'm actually sad😭😭😭 The upcoming flashbacks will break me, the way it broke me in the cdrama. I love Family By Choice so much😭

This!!! Like every character flawed because they are broken. They did things because they believed it to be a better choice. they are broken people that found home in one another, so of course they will stick to Juwon when they found the chance. They left Juwon, of course she will feel abandon. But that doesn't mean they do not mean something to one another.

it's just like our friends in our youth, we still keep in contact with them but as the time pass by the conversations are less and less intimate. Also Juwon has always been insecure about her importance to Sanha and HaeJun, so as the time pass by she understood that they are not really family and they all left her. Another fact is they promised her to come back after college, but they will come back only after 10 years

I feel like Tan Can will be the annoying senior who likes both HaeJun and Sanha. Or she's not Tan Can, then it's gonna be the girl classmate who often gets boyfriend.

I watched the OG too, but I can't forget his character. Because he is the only one who can actually think straight between him and his sister. But then no, he gave the burden to Ling Xiao. Though I get it, he only shows up in this scene.

Sanha's mom and sister will become very dependent on him. The mother will try her best to be possessive to Sanha that is why he just can't leave. The timeskip will be 10 years, what Sanha promised to Juwon and HaeJun is only 5 years.
Ps. this is based on the cdrama version, if the remake will follow the plot then this will become the reason why Sanha can't reach them.

yeah they're gonna timeskip at ep 8 or the end of ep8. I feel like they're making it as half of the series are for youth, then second half is their adult life

In the Cdrama, every sweet scenes of Ling Xiao and JianJian ost song "Breeze" sang by Seven Tan (Playing JianJian) is played. And that became my favorite song because it really fits the scenes. AND NOW! The FMC sweet scene of Sanha and Juwon, the song choice is chef's kiss!!!!! I love it so much!!!!

Hae Jun's mother probably feels like she doesn't deserve to be a mother anymore. She left Hae jun, she knew she doesn't have the right to just come back.

I literally cry everytime Qi Ming Yue cries, I can't do that anymore with Dal too😭
