FL had no interest in ML while things started. When you feel that ML who made everyone believe that FL likes him by establishing a contract isn’t evil, why are you feeling so hurt when SFL did it ? Especially in the beginning when FL was more leaning towards coach even if that was an infatuation due to the way she idealise him,

Similarly, just like SFL our ML did everything to stick around FL despite her lack of interest in the beginning. Yes, ML didn’t say it out loud but the actions are same. Stalk around their love interest in whatever way possible and try to keep them isolated from potential suitors.

By the end, things worked out for ML so we are happy, when things didn’t work out for SFL she is evil ? The only extra mistake SFL did IMO is not sharing the truth to FL after SBS confessed to Qing that he loves FL. Then our ML had done his own share of mistake to humiliate her in public with that botched up confession to haunt her forever. Though it is an unintended mistake due to his childish nature, we cannot deny he brought that pain on SFL himself.

If SFL deserves a slap, so is ML.

She called SBS after learning that FL have no interest in him. So what’s wrong there I don’t understand ? She came there to learn the truth behind their relationship , there is no denying in it. But that certainly isn’t manipulation, don’t you think ?

If that’s manipulation, why not accept the fake relationship bullshit of ML as father of all manipulations 😅. Yes, let’s drop the discussion.

Yes SFL is a bad friend to FL. FL was innocent and was always exploited by others. On the other hand SFL and ML is almost same with their actions. I never criticised FL anywhere.

I was comparing SBS actions with others and related how our perspective changes just by the title ML and SFL. The things ML does which we appreciate were the things which we hate when SML or SFL does. Similarly the things we call obsession of second leads is what we call pure love when ML does.

Saving life, yes. Saving dream, Xiao does that, not ML. He allows her into the team first and train her personally. My concern is why sugar coat one’s flaws as swoony cute thing when the same can be considered miserable on another perspective 😅🙃. If you cannot think neutral and continue to follow the same template, you shall.

See, so has ML’s deliberate fake relationship caused some misunderstandings for FL relation with Xiao as well. Xiao certainly believed the relationship is true and who knows things might have worked different. Even further our ML didn’t like our FL talk to others…… He literally stalked her.

Finally ML exploits FL using her weakness to get her consent for the fake relationship. He didn’t even give her time to think but publicly announce and then coerce her to accept. A good friend won’t exploit their friend. So ML is bad friend there…. ?

Eventually it all comes down to evil vs good by the end. Here my discussion is how writers aren’t thinking beyond basic template and how viewers us are subconsciously modded to believe everything leads does is good and second leads does is bad. That’s all. The discussion is solely to criticise writers.

SBS could have cancelled the contract once things resolved but he certainly kept it going for his personal intention. On top of that he uses FL weakness and used that to his advantage to coerce her into relationship. Though you justify that as an act to protect himself that’s an manipulation ?

If Qing is obsessed for leaving for pursuing ML and so is our ML. He tried to always stay close to FL in the name of fake boy friend and even stalked with who are all she talk and spend time with and dictated not to do such things as it impacts his name. And he became FL interim coach to pester her more.

Yes, Qing did evil by claiming ML first. So is ML by using fake contract.

If you see things from neutral perspective the writer should have done a better job.

Let me add a final conclusion to this discussion. Today we are calling someone obsessed because she let go of her career and came all the way to pursue her love interest. We would have hailed it as a sacrifice, sincerity and true love of FL would have done. 😅. Such is our perceptions towards characters and incidents in a drama.

My point is when she can fall in love with someone she HATED. Why do you eliminate the possibility to fall in love with someone she idolise and considers as the man every woman wants in life. Of course I pointed the slight kindness she developed is because ML saved her and he took advantage and exploited her into his fake relationship trap in return. Well done 🤣

If most of the favourite cdrama male leads does something , will it become the RIGHT thing ? I am afraid not 😅.

Indeed, Qing deliberately did it to keep her love interest SBS safe from FL. ML did the same by instructing FL to stay away from other guys and coach by coercing that it affects his name to keep FL away from her potential suitors. Ideally both did the same ?

My point is that the diary was a truth. While fake relationship bullshit was a manipulation. So IMO Qing was less evil than ML.

To elaborate, let’s inverse characters. Imagine FL is a fan of ML and idolise him. She was about to ask ML out and certainly we see FL is kind of infatuated now. Then FL learns Coach Xiao saved her and so she shows little sympathy and eventually for that matter she plays along Xiao. Our ML starts to believe FL is in relationship and so keeps personal distance. Our FL still idolise ML but Xiao uses the fake relationship contract to win her heart. Wouldn’t we call Xiao bad, cunning, selfish and manipulative ? Why should we always believe that everything ML does is good ? Can’t writer think better ?

She from her perspective would have thought to keep the wrong confession a secret since FL anyways not interested in ML ( according to her). Why should she be bothered ? She isn’t responsible for ML being childish and creating misunderstandings all around.

You feel like she is evil for hiding a thing in private. Now think from Qing perspective, more than her so called evil deeds our ML’s childish dumb personality brought more pain to FL and humiliation along with pain to Qing. Though the intentions are different certainly ML had inflicted more pain and chaos all around.

If forced fake relationship isn’t a manipulation what do you call this ? Social service to protect FL from other suitors ?

FL certainly was more infatuated towards Coach ( though she had no love feelings by then ) while hated ML. When she could fall in love with someone she hated why not with someone she was infatuated with ?

If she is crazy obsessed, can we call ML as cunning and manipulative for coming up with contract relationship to get close to her and keep others away ?

Welp, the diary scene is far better than forced contractual fake relationship bullshit. At least Qing exposed FL real feelings and tried to help her friend. What’s wrong there ?

If that’s the case our ML deserved worse since he poked his nose and manipulated FL with fake relationship when coach and she was getting together well. On top of that it is our ML who confused and damaged his relationship more than Qing. Especially when he tore that fake contract it gave wrong signals to everyone around.

There is no such scene which covers the opinion of others so far. After his dumb confession to Qing, everyone believes that the confession is real. However his friends know the intended person is changed and it’s all botched up now. Soon things get sorted out between ML and FL.

Though there is a brief casual talk between ML and FL about others finding out that their earlier relationship was contractual, nothing serious happening around.

Her character thought FL interested in Coach. For sure it was that way when things started. FL was more infatuated towards coach and even asked him out. Except a little kindness because ML saved her from that lake, she literally hated him when Qing came into picture.

It was only later ML succeeded to earn FL love using his fake relationship as cover to get close to her. Still neither of them were accepting their feelings although Qing realised SBS fell in love with FL. But I guess she was sure to sway the wind in her favour as she believed that FL isn’t interested in ML. I don’t see much problem in her character.

TBF though her character lied here and there due to the jealousy she had over main couple relationship, she hardly done anything evil. Certainly nothing worse than the humiliation she suffered from the botched up confession which brought her into the mess created by childish behaviour of ML😅. After throwing her almost established career to pursue her love interest, that was a very bad way to end things.

Glad our writer didn’t use his creativity again to enforce a public fake relationship ( with Qing ) and a private true relationship ( with FL) to freak us out again like he always did 😂

Not as bad as we imagined although it was annoying briefly. They made up for that by bringing main couple together quickly in next episode without dragging any further.

A few silly fillers to drag main couple relationship. Just keep your expectations limited in terms of romance plots, could test your brain if you are looking for a good writing. Apart from that it’s a worthy watch only for the efforts people had put on sports. The sports story has an interesting plot and I am expecting it to get more interesting in coming days.

This comment section used to be very eventful when the drama had started. Now we are four or five here. I assume everyone else shifted to other ongoing dramas ? So you aren’t alone. I am only trying to see through this till end since the last several episodes have no angst or hate …
