Alright but as someone who's literally here for the plot, literally for the intriguing story. Can we stop bringing the fanwars and the issues of the actors? And instead just literally discuss the drama itself? And not the issues of each actors/actresses? Because not gonna lie, it's getting tiresome seeing this comment section flooded and dumped by the issues going on of the actors in the drama, it would be better if we discuss the mysterious plot of the drama instead cuz shi is an original script and we know nothing about the plot, just only snippets from Reuters, the trailers , and also the MV.
And a not so biased/ controversial take here from the MV (more likely a character analysis from a passerby's perspective):
•I know the main character got less screentime in the MV but ngl, it makes his character even more mysterious and intriguing for me and his scenes looks very interesting. And as per the first trailer, his character took a dark turn and interestingly enough, he's such a refreshing main character, not the typical shounen typa MC.
•As per the second male lead, his character feels like the story is told from his perspective (?). It's as if the plot is about the main character's story from his friend's perspective. He's a tritagonist who's possibly narrating/retelling the story of his old friend from his perspective (regarding the last scene of the MV). I would also like to add that the lyrics of the song seemed like it's his perspective, supporting my theory of this story that this is a retelling of their story from his perspective
•It's a found family trope, a found family trope that never ends well, possibly (Holy shi, my favourite Genre).
Although I also do not tolerate the cyberbullying done to the actor, but pls don't bring it up here, can this page be for the drama itself? It's just more interesting to discuss characters and have story analysis.
It should be explode considering the casts' quality and based on famous novel, means the storyline must be good…
Yeah I very much agree with too many romance and almost the same plot, especially Xianxia genre 😭, even manhwas these days have the same plot. Although I love romance, sometimes I'd just want a story that is not romance focused and is more focused on the main character goals and conflicts.
All the entertainment groups made predictions about the summer drama series and all of them watched "Lotus House", all of them have said that it is an explosive drama. I'm very excited for this when it comes out ^^

I'm not a fan of both leads and watched this solely because of the Xianxia genre, here's my opinion on this drama, at first I was kinda annoyed with the fl sometimes but she grew to me. The Ml's acting is also good. For me so far, This drama is very promising, it's quite enjoyable, I just hope the later parts won't ruin it.
Hidden Love, The long promise & Destined are currently my favourites. Give them a try...might not be your cup…
Thank you for the Recommendations^^, I actually tried to watch the 1st episode of hidden love but unfortunately, I watched it on a bad timing, I had a very bad headache that time so I kinda forgot it for a while, I'll probably pick it up next time ^^. I'm also currently watching The longest promise and it piqued my interest, as for Destined, I'm binge watching it once it's done and once I'm also done in reading The Cruel Prince.
So far, it's really addicting and I like the whole plot. I especially like this trope "enemies to lovers"🤧 and it was written in an interesting way. And the ost's are so good!!! My personal favorite would be "Mysterious bird" and "Black moonlight"
