I find Buried Hearts a little disjoined, it is like the characters live their own life without letting us understand…
Glad it's not only me. It's like he isn't doing bad or anything it's just not selling the character intensity wise imo. I want him to act like this character is his home not an hotel/airbnb (if that makes sense.)
The movie being watched doesn’t change that people are still giving it low ratings. Imo the movie was boring. Also how many non-english movies were released, what was the movies competition?…personally don’t find Netflix ranking means much especially when ratings aren’t good

That's your opinion an that's fine. I have watched almost all his works, film and drama. The genre and characters job might make it feel different but his acting style has been the same. In 2024 alone he had 3 dramas and 1 movie. So many roles back-to-back made his acting start to feel the same with some over-acting here and there. Kingdom and Hyena stand out the most acting wise the rest are all starting to feel the same. Kinda wasn't surprised when he ranked 3rd in 2024's worst acting by Industry Insiders. Although I wouldn't say worst, just nothing new

In the US there is still a significant gap between the number of people incarcerated for drugs versus those who get access to rehabilitation services. The law prioritize criminalization over rehabilitation unless you what rich. The US is more equipped but they aren't doing a good job and SK has less data available. There are many sk celebs that recovered in SK and even his senior Ha jung woo had the same drug use and is back to acting
And thats false SK isn't the highest rate of alcohol abuse and alcoholism in the developed world. Even in recent news SK overall alcohol consumption has dropped 12% and is continuing to decline. And would be much lower if it weren't for older people
