Pre production was in late January they didn’t have all roles casted either. Dramas “used” to has nothing to do with this that’s how they used to do it back in the day. Most productions don’t work like that even actress Lee young ae just recently talked about the change. No one said they have to wait till end for post productions but since filming isn’t done neither is post production. Like I said even the staff said they are working longer hours to get this done

No it’s not and the lead changed. they had to rush filming to meet tvn timeline and they still have post production with ost just finishing. The actors staff posted that they had really long filming hours to meet the timeline. Law of city post production ended June 5th not filming. They were set to air on time and had plenty of time , pretty much was just waiting and shooting began December 20 2024.

lesser know actress would be nice but even for an '"experienced" one this type of role might be different for their usual and still be helpful especially a typecasted actresses.

He said he plans to take a break after his current promised projects ( drama and SF film) meaning if this project starts filming sometime next year he is more likely to take a break before it. This project he is considering it’s not a promised or accepted one yet. He already took a break before and plans on taking a longer one (the duration is unknown what he thinks is “long extended break”). The drama ends filming in Jan 2026 and could be done before not sure about the film

If he accepts this, it's said filming will begin sometime next year. Don't know what he considers a "break" but this might be his first project(s) after his break.
