I'm 43 minutes in and find the whole thing rather boring and tired-looking. I'm still wondering why it took the…
Exactly how I feel! Maybe Seinfeld Effect ? the stunt work and mix of action/romance/myth might've been revolutionary back then but I really just feel like by the time I watched it I'd already seen the same thing but done better both visually and story-wise.
I agree with everything you noticed but I firmly put my rose tinted glasses while watching this drama as I do…
I definitely know what you mean about rose-tinted glasses! I usually try to do that when watching dramas but sometimes the parts that bother me just overpower them and that usually makes the difference between a good and bad drama for me. Unfortunately this was one of them :/
I think if this was a film I would definitely have enjoyed it more and it would've felt like a fast light-hearted rom-com β 34 episodes maybe just dragged out things that already bothered me too much.
And me too! I loved the 2ML. Haven't seen him in anything else but let me know if you find a good one :)
Thank you for this review! I felt something was off with this drama (beside all the Africa nonsense!) but could…
You're welcome! You described what I felt perfectly (and much more succintly than I could haha) β halfheartedly is exactly what I felt watching this.
Hello, I didn't watch entire drama because to me this drama wasn't worth it. I don't understand why so many people…
I'm sorry you got called names :( Your opinion is definitely valid! I do think the drama gets better after the first 12 episodes (the gaming part felt kind of random and weirdly placed) and I haven't seen Dilraba in anything else but I think I know what you mean β JJ's character was a little too peppy and "perfect" for me.
Sol was a great character. Arguably the best character of the drama. But Ji wan was totally immature. I agree…
Yep, Sol was undoubtedly my favorite character! Jiwan annoyed me too but in the end I think they matched each other well and I liked seeing Jiwan coming to terms with her feelings. Her immaturity was actually a sort of innocence that made her so unafraid and sure about her feelings and I loved that a lot.
And yep - I was worried from the start that the producers would be too chicken to show us explicit Soljiwan scenes and I was right :( Still had really great build-up though.
100% agree! though I haven't finished yet, I wanted to say/ask why no one cares about GEB? I can guess she isn't…
Completely agree, especially on the second part! I think the kdrama community general agree that this is the drama where everyone gets SLS and thinks the FL ends up with the wrong person :( SML actually makes sense for FL and SML to fall in love considering the scenes they had together and getting to know each other AFTER the switch, while it feels like the ML was basing all his feelings off of liking the original sister...
