Unintentional Love Story which is the series that was released before this but story progression wise comes after this so if you haven't watched you should!
I was so sure Deok Sun would end up with Jung Hwan because of the clips I've seen of this series and well... the reality of these two dating in the past. I ignored Choi Taek as a love option completely even when they had some lovey dovey scenes, so when they got together it meant nothing to me and made me feel upset and angry. So generally not a bad series a bit too long and draggy at times but from the love triangle perspective I'm really disappointed đ
I really love this drama as a fan of Twinkling Watermelon. At first I didnt like how EP1 and first part of EP2…
As a big fan of Twinkling Watermelon I thought I would never find a good show as Twinkling Watermelon but then came Lovely Runner and I fell all over again, I'm patiently waiting for another show in this genre to blow mw away as these two

Is this worth the watch?the best time travel drama so far is twinkling watermelon,so my expectations are quite…
I really liked Twinkling Watermelon and gave it 10/10 and then watched Lovely Runner and also gave it 10/10, so it's safe to say in my opinion if you liked Twinkling Watermelon you'd also really like Lovely Runner
So, why did he kill his son ??? Or the others victims??
His son not sure, but the others something about his mother not loving him and abandoning him when he was young, not a reason that can satisfy your need for answers like most of this drama
It was very subtle, but it was there. Many people who watch this genre often don't want romance in their dramas…
Generally, I feel like this show was very lacking in a lot of aspects not just the romance, and as a review here said, I feel like we were left with more questions than answers. But I got to give to this show the fact that I stayed till the end and didn't drop it because I was very curious about who the culprit was

So for me, I watch dramas mostly for the romance so when there is none or it's not satisfying I get disappointed.
It looks like MDL does have a "slight romance" tag but this drama doesnât have it, so what is it based on? No idea. But on the other hand, in this show's tags, there is no mention of romance at all so maybe I should have looked at the tags also to figure out the romance is basically non-existent since there is not even the "slight romance" tag, and not only look at the genres.
As for your question about incorporating romance into the story, this is the director and writer's job if they care about it enough, everything is possible.
As I'm not a director or a writer and I have no experience in such things I can only add my view on this as a K-drama fan for 10 years. I can even say I like good old clichĂŠ romance gestures if they are done right, you know? Catching a girl when she is falling, slow motion looking into each other's eye and more and more, that doesnât have to get under the category of "lovey-dovey". But as someone who just finished this drama now, I can tell you there were no signs of them liking each other AT ALL before ep 12, where it was just said out loud and not shown in actions, so people who donât expect romance might think it's okay, but for me who likes romance even if it's slow burn romance, there have to be signs that I can clearly see, they donât have to say it out loud (Devil Judge example you gave although I didn't watch it) but there has to gestures and hints, even very small, for me to agree this is a real romance and not out of the blue one.

I understand what you are saying, I learned my lesson and I read the comments before starting a drama like this to see if the romance is good, or, starting very low, even present at all. I did see a lot of comments in dramas like this where people would like zero romance, but as an avid straight-to-the-face romance, the romance in this drama doesn't count as romance for me. There are dramas like this one that mix very well romance mystery time travel and more but the romance in this drama was nonexistent until they said otherwise with words and not actions. If you have an example of something romantic that happened between the two leads before episode 12 where, for me, they very suddenly decided they like each other I would like to see it.
If you love good romance don't watch this. The romance was very sudden without proper progression and the only thing they did was hold hands. Whoever put romance in the genres of this drama needs to be sued for misleading.
the fact that those ppl who watched it while the drama is ongoing is obsessed with this drama is because of less…
I actually had a little bit of a K-drama burnout and I started watching this exactly when the last episode aired and I didn't have high expectations because I thought maybe it was my fault and I needed to stop watching K-dramas. But this drama was so good it made me realize I'm not the problem it's K-dramas these days that can't do a good pure rom-com and have to push other things or fall out in the second half. For me this was the best K-drama I've seen in years if not the best K-drama I've ever seen, it doesn't have to do to with watching it ongoing or binge-watch it's the quality, and I'll admit it's not for everyone but the numbers speak for themselves even though a lot of comments here try to ignore it and call this drama overrated.
I think most (not all) of the "overrated" comments are made by people who saw the 9.2 rating and be like Wow!…
I binge-watched it and enjoyed it a lot! I don't understand what people have against other people's opinion if it has 9.2 it means other people like it
kisses or like chicken pecking and get shy about it lol , and is he proposed to her or she didn't want to get…
Did we watch the same drama? they had two very mature long kisses and the rest were a great balance of small kisses and some emotional ones. I will agree that Sol being surprised by his kissing in the few last episodes wasn't the most logical thing but that doesn't change the kissing count and the fact this is the drama with the most kisses I've ever seen.
