They didn't it was when they showed the two adult almost kissing, the way they shoot it, this is a typical way to show time jump but here they played with us (but in a way also showing some sign of the future) would be nice to actually have this scene with the real adult version of themselves!
In a weird way I am excited about the redflag character Deng Kai is playing. I also want to see how the character played by Li Qing will develop, he is playing an interesting role in this chest game!
When the male lead hugged the female lead after he almost murdered her aggressor and she is telling him to never kill someone as she will be more in pain, i love that they allowed him to drop a tear. That shows clearly his affection but also he cares as he can see she cares for him. The one finger swipe was so mainly i dont know. Totally agree also on this. It makes so much sense he said it as well. He was willing to die after the revenche but now he does not want anymore since he met her. And at first he was mainly saving his ass and using her in a way as a support then when she discovered who he was and they started the new journey for the dragon saliva, he started to really be more open with his affection
It is an unpopular opinion for some: but I am really glad Zhao Zhao is doing what she is doing. I feel like so many drama are acting as if cancelling a betrothal or kissing someone while you are engaged is okay in the "historical/fantasy" world for women. Women are always (and even more in those context_) the one to get the blame. On top of all of the major conflict between the sects, come on. I would also drop those butterfly in my stomach.. really he is hot but would this be worth it to have your whole world against you potentially? Love can also fade. I want them to be together but I like to see female lead who just don't go with the flow.

Uhh I have a habit of skipping and skimming through dramas and I really like this drama but I don't understand…
I am usually skipping and skimming too but this time this drama got my ADHD to focus. Just try to sit through 2 episodes without skipping it is really great!
Now they are really trying to show how much they are similar, when they hand the paper at the administration office they are in sync, they are both working hard on what they have to do... it just show they are similar in some ways
