From what I understand there is a lot of scenes from ZQ past as WX is doing his investigation so it may include some interactions from his memory? or imagination? But as far as I read the source, no, no current interaction as ZQ is behind the Gate now. The next arc is Sand Sea at the end of which they are preparing expedition to welcome ZQ back. The current time in the show is the story of WX investigation and he interacts with Zhang family ( and he will not be fan of them in the future so..). Btw one of them will be wearing ZQ face but I do not remeber if it is part of that book or another.
Could someone explain this here? Could you let me know where ZQ told wuxie to meet him after 10 years? i am kinda…
To answer your question with spoiler alert: That part was not filmed yet. Ater the events of Ultimate Note, that ended in clifhanger, there is whole book of events that ended with ZQ going to guard Ultimate behind Bronze Gate (in north, Changbai Mountain). He did it in place of WX, knocking him out so he did not follow him, Before going, he (ZQ) left him the message that WX can come back to that gates in 10 years, when his guarian mission is over. So WX self appointed himself mission to find ZQ and Zhang familly history and deal with his enemies so when ZQ come back he will never have to go through hard times again. Which is what this series partialy about.
So,.. some shadow organization is trying to take over the control? The opium seems part of the plot but I think they will try to compromize / kill commander rather that him being part of it.
Episode 13. Creepy start! And Song He being afraid of bats is pretty funny🦇🤣LOL Qin Huo Le throwing his…
EP 16 Actually, what was happening to her? I did not understand how this special "human" medicine is made. I thought they would need to kill her but she is alive so that is not it. Ep 17 And now it make sense, it was not bad writing, it was wrong deduction.
just realized something.... if only sikong changfeng didn't go for that qiulubai that's been taken care of for…
you simplyfied, because of who Baili Dongjun and his family are there would always be issues, this was just as good excuse as any other they could find
Isn't it funny as in all those dramas people build their image and make themselves known but then they want to not be recognised so they mask themselves but their counterparts just look at the swords and they are like: Hello, isn't it this famous sword that X is using?

I don't understand the hate. She was literally sold by her father and strong-armed into marriage. She is blameless.
Well, it's fictional story so everything is out of proportion but even in real life some people personal feelings driven actions blow spectaculary. Those are catalysts, it may be who they are, or even be in wrong time in wrong place. And don't forget, even if on surface it is two people in love, the background is way more complicated and goes back to previous generation and conspiracy that is just using them to win their own game. It is never one person to blame, it whole politics around.
The key word is "finished", the most of which I can remember are not. From the same universe you have: Tales of Dark River Great Journey Of Teenagers Word of Honor Other I liked: First Order - sf The Island of Siliang The Ravages of Time The Land of Miracles Law of Devil Soul Land (this one is finished and very long, good but I skipped parts as I did not have so much time) and second story: Soul Land 2 The Peerless Tang Clan Since the Red Moon - sf Solo Leveling Purple River Eternal brotherhood Legend of Exorcism (on Netflix) The Defective - sf Thousand Autumns Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation I have to mention that the last 4 are bl adaptations but not that obvious I only watched part of it (I don't have time for very long one): Jade Dynasty
there are animes few others SF animations that I do not remember names right now
in general or that one? I like animated shows, disregarding of what country they orginate from. It is different medium and some stories are better told via it. For this one answer is yes, I like all of donghua from this universe, they are a bit naive in terms how the politics or court can work but funny and well made. I like action in my wuxia, not romance, so it fits the bill, I guess.

Well, you are right of course but it is not democracy, it's tyrany they are living in. Should everybody just agree to injustice, big or small, because every opposition will bring suffering to more people? We start we one girl, we end with whole nations perished. And here I am not discussing this particular case, I am opposing whole mindset that injustice should be ignored in name of so called "grater good", it is slippery slope.
it starts slow, lol! And I mostly watch it for pretty faces and to see what happened after where animated series stoped ( I can't read original). Still it is better that the most of heavy on romance dramas in the same genere so I still enjoy it enough.
Btw, if you watch animated version the actions of some characters after are maybe not excuseable but have more backing in the circumstances they have to deal with. The emperor is way more terrifying figure there. I try my best to comment on drama from its perspective only, where some characters apear more or less sympathetic thet in animated version.

btw, Helena was victim too. Afrodyta did not asked her opinion when she was given as the bribe for her (the goddess) to get the first prix in beauty contest.
Donghua was more politics heavy and more understandable in terms of who is driving the plot behind the scene. It made the first arc better but you can't expect those level of details from drama. I guess donghua is closer to the source (novel)?
