I have never been so attached to a c-drama before. Wu Lei and Zhao Lusi had made me emotionally invested in their characters and I can’t wait for their future works. I have officially become a fan. LLTG production and cast were great! I’m glad that their hard work is paying off. Especially director fei, your hard work and preparation was a success, you made a hit drama!
I agree! The ending was beautifully shot! Huo Buyi has the love of his life and the family that he has yearned for. I say this was the perfect ending for the both of them.

The original LBY died the night of the fall of the Gu city. Huo Wushang, (the LBY that we are currently seeing) took over his cousins identity since they look alike. His aunt or “mom” took him in and protected him. Coincidentally she became mentally ill and no one questioned if the LBY we are seeing was the real one, so his cover was successful. Huo Wushang was allergic to almonds but the original LBY loved almonds. That’s why we saw the allergic reaction. It was another way to confirm his true identity and make speculations for CSS as she pieces everything together.

I agree! She wasn’t really blaming him, she was trying to get him to comfort her. And letting him know that she misses him. I’ve never really thought about how it reflects Asian culture, but now that you mention it I do notice myself doing it to others as well. Playfully blaming but deep down it’s innocent and for seeking comfort.
-ShaoShang’s behavior and emotions in these two episodes is justified. Idk why people are saying she’s acting immature and pinning the “blame”? on Ling BuYi. In my perspective, she was basically saying “you were gone for a few days and look what happened” they both didn’t expect things to go this way. Also, ShaoShang missed LBY and she didn’t expect to see him in Tongniu county. She was just expressing how she felt and what she went though to LBY, he wants her to be open with him. - we know that CSS is not the only one that was suffering, LBY was also having a hard time. He went straight to CSS after the battle in Shouchun. But that’s because he WANTED to go to her. LBY subordinate telling her about their struggles was not to put her down, it is another way for CSS to think clearly and not go into things without a plan. - Too much ramble here but I dislike people shaming CSS :(
