The show was promising due to it's unexpected and "weird" plot, however, it wasn't well executed. I had high hopes since it had stellar cast but the script and comedic timing wasn't it.
I watched the movie with bad subtitles so I'm not really in the best position to judge the movie. But for me, the grandfather ghost should have been the main antagonist because thee Japanese soldier was underwhelming. The characters were badass and unbothered at first and became scaredy cats towards the end. You'd expect something great due to the attitude change of the characters but it wasn't a satisfying end.
He was tracking her through an app. He had too many hire-to-kill people on standby who would follow his instructions.
If I remember correctly, Haein already left before Eunsung realized she was gone but he arrived around the same time as the couple. How did he figure out Haein was meeting Hyunwoo for him to arrange a kidnapping? And how did the people waiting to harm her know where she was in such a short time? Especially since she parked her car in other location and went to find Hyunwoo while walking and note that the tracker was under her car, not on her phone.
I just can't wrap my head around how that situation unfolded.
