Kinda difficult to explain why they broke up because so many things happened. But what triggered the break up…
FL's mother talked to ML saying that they want a comfortable life for their daughter. Mother is fully opposed to their relationship. The couple still went on to their relation but this hurt ML's self-esteem deeply inside. So FL's father was hospitalized this time but ML is thinking that this is just a scheme from the parents to make her go home. FL went back home and argued with her mother. The couple was supported by his father on a good side. ML has a problem on his own parents aside from FL. He fainted from stress and not eating for a few days. FL went to ML with the approval from both her parents hinting that although concerned, they aren't really opposed this time. But she was hurt about what ML was thinking deep inside (about FL parents). Of course she would side with her parents this time, her family is already having a hard time and yet the ML is thinking that her mother just wants her to go home because he is a burden.
FL this time is thinking that only she is the one in-love in the relationship and ML is too self-centered.
FL thinks that she lost her last moment with her father just to argue with ML. FL is hurt.
Though it wasn't shown. Time passed by let them heal and they both had enough time to think that it wasn't each others fault. Both were immature at that time.
ML initially didn't want an eye surgery but did it to prove to FL's mom that he isn't a burden to her daughter.

Lol that was long. Maybe because I can see each others POV so I understood why they were arguing.

Loved the 1st half but the 2nd half feels almost like a completely different drama. What made it special and unique…
I think they should have shortened the break-up phase and detailed what what happened when Yi Jin was discovered or what happened with Cheng Yi because everything was rushed by the end.

If you watch a clip from the first half and watch another short clip from after the break-up, you would really think that it's a separate series.

It's always the breakup that messes up the story. LOL

I don't understand this drama. Why they broke up and why they got back together?
Kinda difficult to explain why they broke up because so many things happened.
But what triggered the break up is ML has low self-esteem so he said something not nice about FL's parents which were opposed to their relationship. FL heard him so she was hurt with his words. FL lost her last chance to see her dying father because of her argument with ML.
They got back together because they still like each other. I think that's enough reason

This drama really gave me butterflies. I'm shaking from excitement. It's not the best but it's heartwarming especially the first half.

Can I stop on episode 18? Or is it important to watch the rest? I haven't watched episode 17 and 18 because I…
You can watch the rest. It will heal the angst after the break up haha

I can see an attempt to pull in and wrap up the Cheng Yin storyline, but I agree that part is not super clear…
The ending was really rushed. They suddenly had a grown up daughter. They didn't even bother changing the personalities even when parenthood came.
They really had to bring up the topic of Yi Jin's private life exposed but not bother giving closure to what happens after.

I feel like they cut down A LOT of scenes in post-production, lmao.
I think they had a problem behind the scenes. The drama was barely advertised. If not by word of mouth would I even dare to watch the drama.

Why do I feel like it's turning into a typical arrogant CEO w/ warm female lead drama? Hopefully, it strays away…
Both were arrogant and childish afterwards so I think it's just fair. LOL

SHE WAS DEAD THE WHOLE TIME?!?
I was spoiled that something will be off with her friend but I didn't expect it like that. Also, I really thought that Wei Hao was just joking. Because Wu Yan's mom didn't even bother telling Nian Qin about it. He had to randomly know about it.

For a few people who made comments about the second half not being as good as the first half here is a little…
As much as I would like to think that Nian Qin was helping Wu Yan to recover, I still can't wrap my head around the reason why he was childish with the little boy with autism. He was warm with kids before so I just don't understand that part.

Is the second half bad..
not that bad. but compared to the first half, it's kinda lacking.
The first half was unique, IMO. But second half became your typical Cdrama.

First half of the series were heart warming, convincing and realistic. That's how I got hooked with the drama. The end was a mess, Nian Qin became irresponsible to the company, suddenly leaving at times. There were unnecessary parts too like the stalking while Wu Yan attends blind dates etc.
But I guess both of them are pretty childish and jealous so they really are match made in heaven. Graduation part proved that.

I paid and binged watched the rest of the episode (that's how excited I was) and I feel like some parts are missing and Nian Qin's character changed by the end. He became overprotective and childish and Wu Yan isn't a convincing Psychiatrist.
Though I didn't like the ending, I'll re-watch the series to witness the chemistry between the two lead characters.

Are they really gonna drop everything tonight? If I counted correctly, it should end next week right?

For real. I had to skip most parts because I don't want to sob like crazy. Parents death in dramas or movies takes…
How do you even count 1.2 box of tissue though. LOL

The thing is you can really put yourself in her shoes so maybe we cried that much. I hope after all those hardships they can walk on flowery path on the next episodes.
