The technical how-to was straight up fiction writing but that's common in TV, I guess. While the special was okay but they neglected some aspects. They also quickly condemned journalistic reports of such incidents without considering the other much valid point of view that their job brings. This special seems to be driven strictly by a clear black and white narrative.

On average, the previous season is still better....

While the signs were there but it was still a nice ending...

That was a loosey-goosey court room...

A decent mystery plot...

It kept going in circles and got repetitive but they made up for it with a decent comeback....

While decent but it was a little disorganized at times and it brushed off some elements quickly to get to the next point which is why it needed either a tighter focus or lengthier runtime.

While decent but it had some contradictions with its own world building. It also needed to create some better basis before delivering the final revelation. It's still nice to see a blatant revenge from the victim's perspective.

A decent slow burn with questionable closure...

The first half was kinda weak for a build up...

Decent contrast but the mix between their drama and movie making didn't blend well since they opted to do that as a tool to progress the narrative.
